• Draft, review and refine structure of tenders, contractual terms, and requirement specifications for ICT systems, products and services procurement.
• Advise project teams on government procurement policies and ensure compliance while meeting project needs
• Identify potential procurement risks and its implication to the project stakeholders, and propose mitigating measures to manage the risks.
• Address user clarifications to enable rapid adoption and smooth transition of participating agencies onto bulk tenders with good understanding of ICT industry key players for ICT products/services applicable to Government.
• Apply contract monitoring methods to assess suppliers’ performance, and execute contract management procedures and techniques.
• Manage suppliers (in accordance to contractual obligations) to meet stipulated service levels within scope and schedule, and perform variation and technology refresh (when necessary).
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of procurement projects.
• Provide regular and timely project status reports to upper management and manage project timelines, stakeholders, and communications.
• Ensure compliance of ICT projects with Quality Management System (QMS) and contractual requirements.
• Conduct audit and follow-up on customers’ usage of projects.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• Be familiar with Government IM on Procurement
• Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience in the ICT Industry and/or Government procurement
• Experience in managing Cloud, Software as a Service (SaaS), and/or AGILE projects will be beneficial
• Participated in full software or product development cycles
• Proven experience in IT business analysis
• Experience in Project Management for Monitoring and Tracking;
• Good knowledge of ICT procurement and contract management practices;
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels;
• Good analytical, organization and planning skills 
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and independently as a self-motivated individual

Handling and maintaining of full sets of accounts

As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the purchasing process, including order processing, team management, record keeping, negotiation, and vendor relationship management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage daily purchase for Outlet operations

• Request for quotations from suppliers for new/alternate items

• Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.

• Stay updated on market trends related to food products, prices, and suppliers to make informed purchasing decisions.

• Ensure all purchased items meet the stringent quality standards including periodic visits to suppliers and random quality checks.

• Source for appropriate products and services with the best possible pricing and payment terms by manner of quotations from suppliers

• Monitors all costs in the Purchasing Department and initiates and maintains measures to control these.

1) Coordinate adhoc / consolidation booking with customer and booking of space with airline.

2) Coordinate rates quotation with airline and provide rates to sales team for quotation to customer.

3) Monitor consolidations for various destination, monitor on the space and rates.

4) Send flight schedules to customer upon confimation.

5) Arrange adhoc cargo service for customers. (Fumigation, DG declaration and packing, wooden crate packing)

6) Check uplift of shipment after lodgement to terminal.

7) Send permits and AWB to customer after flight departed.

8) Raise amendment if any to airline and destination agent.

9) Raise monitoring reports for some customer to monitor rates and load.

10) Suggest solution for customer base on their shipping needs. (Training will be provided, assistance will be given by superior.)

11) Communicate with Sales/accounts team regarding quotation and billing matters.

13) Coordinate adhoc coload booking from other coloaders.

14) To solve any problem that may arise for export cargo with destination agents.

Your mission is to help the millions of Wise customers in APAC throughout the entire customer lifecycle. The focus will be on Australia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand and Singapore. 

Working with software engineering teams in Singapore, you will look after: 

1. Increasing payment processing automation rates,
2. Maximising funnel conversion rates for APAC customers, and 
3. Ensuring the product is compliant with regulatory obligations

Projects the team will be focusing on include: 

1. Launching the ability for Australian customers to earn a return on the hundreds of millions of dollars they hold with Wise
2. Making it easier for business customers in Singapore to get verified while staying compliant
3. Building an API integration with a bank in Japan to make payments faster, cheaper and to build redundancy in our infrastructure

Apart from other APAC PMs and engineers, key stakeholders include:

1. Global product-engineering teams:
   1. Teams based in Europe build the core Wise experience that the APAC team builds on top of. If you need changes made in the core product, it will be your job to paint a clear picture of your vision and the associated impact, and to guide the global teams to realise that vision.
2. Commercial-focussed teams that:
   1. Own vendor (e.g. banking partner, verification provider) relationships
   2. Sell the Wise product to banks and other large businesses
3. Regulatory and financial crime compliance-focused colleagues
4. Operations colleagues in payments processing, verification, customer support and financial crime operations
