General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the company, improving efficiency, and increasing departmental profits. Requirements

• BSc/BA in Business, Technical or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
• Singaporeans are mainly welcome to apply as the client does not have quotas for the foreign expertise
• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role for more than 9 years
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in marine or Oil & Gas Industry with offshore construction experience preferred

· Project management professional certification would be a plus

• Industry expertise
• Language Proficiencies in English & Chinese as he/ she needs to communicate with the Chinese speaking clients, stakeholders, vendors and staffs
• Experience in planning and budgeting
• Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
• Strong analytical ability

· Familiarity with relevant industry specified ISO system & IACS rules and regulations on offshore construction projects

· Knowledge of surveys, documentation, best practices, rules and regulations

• Willing to travel as per company’s business requirements
• Excellent communication skills in English & fluent in one or two local languages would be advantageous
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
