Job Mandate

The Project Manager Officer is primarily responsible for managing projects for Singapore Branch. He/She assists the Commercial Banking Head and Chief Executive to formulate the Business Recovery Plan and ensuring that projects and activities of the branch support business priorities.

Duties & Responsibilities

Project Management

· Responsible for a portfolio of process enhancement, product development, or process automation projects

· Prepare a detailed project plan outlining key milestone, workstreams, and activities; manage project delivery according to this plan

· Track project progress and provide regular reports on status to the project team and key stakeholders.

· Manage and adjust for changes in project priority, scope, schedule, and budget.

· Identify, escalate and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.

· Oversee communication and relationships with project stakeholders

· Manage internal resources and/or external vendors to ensure successful project completion

· Coordinating diverse teams including internal and third-party members.

· Applies good project management practices such as techniques in resolving complex, interdependent activities into tasks and sub-tasks that are documented, monitored and controlled

Business Management Support

· Act as contact point person accross all Business Units, especially in terms of business risk and control, operational matters, information dissemination, co-ordination on general queries and escalation, regulatory and compliance matters, and other business initiatives

· Perform Risk Management and Control tasks (e.g. KRI monitoring, incident reporting, audit point closures, RM scorecard monitoring, etc.)

· Support Center Heads with various business Initiatives; represent Front Office in regular process enhancement and new product working groups

· Support Center Heads Monitor Key Performance Indicators.

· Collaborate with MIS and Finance to support Center Heads in monitoring, tracking and analyzing individual and team important metrics.

· Facilitate discussions between RMs/ARMs and support partners in clarification/resolution of business issues (e.g. payment/AML queries).

· Facilitate readiness and participation in business contingency planning (BCP).

• Event Coordination: Ensure the smooth flow of the event by coordinating between the event organizers, performers, and technical team.
• Opening Remarks: Set the tone for the event by delivering a welcoming and engaging introduction.
• Announcements: Provide important announcements, updates, and schedules to the audience.
• Speaker/Performer Introductions: Introduce each speaker, performer, or segment with relevant information and energy.
• Audience Engagement: Keep the audience entertained and engaged throughout the event, often using humor, interaction, or trivia.
• Time Management: Ensure the event stays on schedule by keeping track of time and adjusting as necessary to avoid delays.
• Problem Solving: Handle unexpected situations (technical issues, schedule changes) with calmness and professionalism.

Job Description

1. Business Development & Sales

• Prepare and submit budgets, forecasts, and monthly sales
reports to the Finance team and CEO.
• Drive account revenue growth, ensuring profitability for each
job and exhibition.
• Assist with resolving insurance claims and client complaints
when escalated.

Working hand in hand with the local sales lead and the insurance stakeholders, the successful Project & Client Delivery Manager Indonesia will have end to end responsibility for Discovermarket partner delivery projects. These projects are designed to disrupt the traditional insurance industry by integrating the ecosystem (enterprise) partners and insurance providers on the Discovermarket platform, thereby offering customers digitally embedded insurance in complement to the product and solutions offerings of Enterprise Customers such as telcos, e-commerce, banks.

The Project & Client Delivery Manager Indonesia is part of the CCO team and reports to the Ecosystem Marketplace Lead, who has portfolio ownership of the partner delivery pipeline.

Roles and Responsibilities

· E2E delivery responsibility for partner onboardings

· Work in close collaboration with Sales Lead (relationship with the brand/ecosystem partners) and Proposition Manager (relationship with brokers & insurers)

· Ensure the project scope is mapped with clear deadlines and deliverables

· Manage key internal and external stakeholders and present progress reports in project steering committee, as well as client meetings

· Build out project risk register, identify key risks and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle

· Manage outcomes and deadlines using resources within the project team

· Deliver projects end to end, including functional areas such as,

o Contracts

o Insurance product design and pricing

o Operations

o IT and Systems

o Management reporting and updates

o Timely risk escalations and remediations

Requirements

· University degree holder

· Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience. Proven track record of successfully delivering projects.

· Indonesian focus: Having worked and/or lived in Indonesia, intimately familiar with Indonesian cultural customs.

· Willingness to travel, and spend significant time in other SEA countries, particularly Indonesia.

· The project language is English, but knowledge of relevant local language(s) is a significant plus.

· Strong ability to structure complex problems in a fast pace, constantly evolving start-up environment. Able to lead a delocalized, international internal and external project team in relentlessly executing client deliveries.

· Strong ability to think holistically, identify blind spots and define their potential solution(s) in a cross functional team.

· Strong preference for Insurance and technology experience

· Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

· Strong stakeholder management and leadership

· Strong ability to actively engage and build relationships across the business with multiple stakeholder groups

· Experience in IT project management. Familiarity with different development methodologies including agile, API documentation and API end-point exposure.
