About this role

Are you an experienced sales strategist looking for your next challenge in travel technology? As Director of Sales - B2B for Atlas, you will be accountable for defining the company’s B2B sales strategy and building a portfolio of profitable B2B clients across the globe. You are open-minded and curious with an ability to understand our clients’ needs, and translate them into innovative product solutions that keep us and them at the forefront of the travel industry

Internal Relationships

Reporting to the Head of Sales & Business Development you will collaborate effectively across teams and borders. You will work seamlessly with the Air Content and Growth teams to deliver world class end-to-end experiences for our B2B clients. Together with our Marketing team, you will ensure that we succeed in reaching potential clients, and build brand and product recognition across the B2B landscape. And critically, you will work closely with our Product and Technology teams to deliver Atlas’ B2B solutions and value proposition.

External Relationships

In this role, you will establish and maintain powerful relationships with key decision makers across our current and prospective B2B partners. You will be our business development lead across this highly dynamic segment, identifying target partners and driving sales campaigns from inception to success. You will lead the nurturing, onboarding and growth of our B2B clients, supporting them to thrive within the Atlas eco-system. You will also be a positive brand ambassador representing Atlas at industry forums and events.

Key Responsibilities

-Lead Atlas B2B sales acquisition
Be the business owner for delivering sales across the B2B segment, focused on intermediaries that aggregate content such as GDS, Travel Technology Platforms & Disruptors, and Consolidators.

-Development and execution of our B2B sales strategy
Lead the design and implementation of our sales strategy with a clear focus on B2B client growth and profitability throughout the customer life cycle

-Build and maintain valuable relationships:
Introduce a clearly defined B2B relationship management strategy to build and maintain strong partnerships with current and prospective clients, and supported by our communications strategy

-Embrace customer feedback to drive change
Effectively shape and influence our B2B product roadmap and client solutions by understanding and anticipating our client needs

-Transform data into powerful insights
Use data based insights to inform our business strategies, product innovation, and to maximise our client profitability

-Represent the Atlas brand
Represent us at external forums, including industry events and conferences, to promote the company's brand, establish thought leadership, and support business development objectives

Required:
-10+ years of sales experience with at least five years in senior sales position(s) with preference given to candidates with experience in sales of digital and tech solutions within the travel eco-system

- Experience leading the design and implementation of B2B sales and channel strategies across multiple geographies, with the ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities

- Demonstrated success delivering B2B sales, leading commercial negotiations with partners to their successful conclusion

- Track record managing implementation of B2B partnerships, through effective project management of deliverables through internal and external stakeholders

-Excellent communication skills with direct experience leading cross-border teams with a broad range of cultures and backgrounds

Key Responsibilities

Operational Delivery

- Lead the technical delivery of GPJ’s largest and more complex projects, including onsite delivery

- Lead on defining GPJ’s technical approach and solutions across all projects

- Oversee the successful technical delivery of all projects, ensuring the right technical team is in place across each project. Onsite presence where required across all projects

- Consult and advise across projects and between departments

New Business Development

- Identify opportunities, through a production lens, to innovate and inspire

Enterprise Architect plays a critical role in designing and maintaining technology functioning in Income toward transforming digital experience, embedding Income’s financial services in the ecosystem, regional drive, and more sustainable operations.

The Southeast Asia Business Exchange (SEABX) initiative was announced by the Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, at the ASEAN Indo-Pacific Forum in Jakarta on 6 September as part of Australia’s Southeast Asia Economic Strategy to 2040. The strategy, developed by Special Envoy for Southeast Asia, Mr Nicholas Moore AO, sets out a practical pathway to increase Australia’s two-way trade and investment with Southeast Asia.

SEABX will help Australian businesses amplify their trade growth in the region.

As part of the SEABX program, Austrade is looking for an experienced Business Development Director (BDD) to join the team in Singapore. The SEABX BDD will work with colleagues in Singapore, Australia, and across the region to:

• Drive awareness amongst Australian businesses of the opportunities in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry bodies, business councils, and chambers.
• Lead or support large, impactful trade missions to Singapore and work with teams in Australia to recruit suitable Australian businesses.
• Perform and coordinate aftercare services for participants in business missions in collaboration with our regional network.

Job Description

As a Director in the Singapore office, you will be leading various types of cross-border projects, especially with Japanese companies. You will discuss top-management issues with executives in Japanese company including non-English speakers. Your role is support growth of global business of Japanese companies, especially for expanding client’s business to ASEAN including Singapore. You are also expected to find the investment opportunities with your digital related experience for joint venture business with Japanese companies. Purpose of the Role: To lead Food & Beverage Design and Facility planning for both existing and pipeline hotels across all brands with a primary focus on Luxury and Lifestyle brands within the IHG portfolio, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders and report on progress of projects.

Back of House Planning Scope of works include but are not limited to the following:

• Create a detailed F&B Facility Area Plan(“FAP”) per hotel based on brand, country, Gross Floor Area(“GFA”), business case etc. for all InterContinental Hotels Group (“IHG”) hotel brands excluding the Holiday Inn Express brand
• Review back of house (“BOH”) facility design across all phases. Zoning, Concept, Schematic, Detailed Design, tender documentation value engineering, for Luxury & Lifestyle up to Installation of F&B equipment & commissioning of F&B Outlets
• The following would be constantly reviewed / calibrated / protected for all IHG branded hotels:

1. Review Design for Food Safety Management Systems (“FSMS”) principles;
2. Review clean and dirty paths within the design of the F&B outlets;
3. Review storage facilities ensuring they match location / supplier chain etc;
4. Review refuse area ensuring it matches municipality requirements;
5. Review BOH areas for adjacencies;
6. Review BOH and front of house (“FOH”) drawings, sections and elevations etc;
7. Review BOH drawings, sections and elevations to ensure show kitchens / bars have integrated design between kitchen consultant & Interior designer;
8. Review basic function equipment to deliver brand & concept;
9. Review to ensure optimal efficient & ergonomic work flows are achieved;
10. Review architectural, interior designs and equipment designs to ensure areas are not over designed either by way of equipment brand / specification / capacity / space planning;

Front of House Scope of works include but are not limited to:

• Review and validate proposed concepts by 3rd party consultants with F&B Operations leaders and/or propose existing concepts that could be utilized
• Review of FOH Facility design across all phases. Concept, Schematic & Detailed Design Phases (all IHG hotel brands are included)
• Review FOH circulation, adjacencies, and spatial planning
• Review FOH facilities to ensure the following has been integrated into the design; Point of Sale (“POS”), side stations etc.
• Facility matches and supports concepts / number seats / number of bars FOH & BOH
• Facility matches brand and projected manning.

The following would be constantly reviewed / calibrated / protected for all IHG hotel brands:

• Review number of seats as per Facility Area Program(“FAP”);
• Review table sizes, side station – clean & dirty, POS stations;
• Review all F&B outlets ensuring they have sufficient associated pantry support;
• Review FOH storage requirements;
• Review to ensure sufficient FOH beverage areas / storage etc. across acholic & non-alcoholic requirements matching an F&B outlet’s concept & facility;
• Review plans to ensure areas are not over designed either by way of equipment brand / specification / capacity;
• Review plans to ensure areas are not over designed by way of space planning
• Review coffee & tea equipment to ensure all equipment are IHG brand compliant and fit for purposes / fit for facility / outlet or concept.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Hotel Management, Culinary Services or equivalent operational experience

Experience

• Minimum 10 years related experience in either:
• F&B operations and or proven successes in key operating hotel, multi hotel units and/or restaurant operations & pre-openings.
• F&B Design and/or development
• Regional experience with a good understanding of local markets, F&B trends etc.
