OVERVIEW

As the Digital News Editor, APAC, you will be at the core of the editorial team, responsible for breaking, assigning, editing and writing news stories throughout Asia’s business day. Your role will involve updating the CNBC.com website, coordinating with various teams and covering breaking news – all within tight deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Deputy Managing Editor in leading and managing a team of journalists
• Act as the hot-seat for CNBC.com, managing and updating site content with strong editorial judgment and knowledge of business and financial news
• Craft breaking news headlines quickly and accurately for mobile notifications  
• Write breaking news stories with both speed and precision
• Occasionally write stories on diverse topics, including financial markets, business trends, economics, and policy
• Perform copy editing for CNBC.com, ensuring the highest quality and timely publication of stories, features, video descriptions and interactive content
• Communicate effectively and promptly with CNBC teams across various countries and platforms, including TV, to ensure coordinated story coverage
• Curate website content by selecting relevant stories from wires and partners
• Produce and publish stories using the content management system
• Delegate tasks to team members and coordinate production to keep the website consistently updated
• Act as a deputy for senior editors and provide guidance to junior staff
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of CNBC’s digital content using analytics tools

What you’ll do:

• Provide project planning schedule, monitor, review and update project progress throughout the project execution, to ensure timely completion.
• Manage the Review of Detail Design by EPC Contractors.
• Visit construction sites and attend client/contractor progress meetings in order to have working knowledge of current project status and issues

Visa’s Senior Director, Engagement Solutions in AP will be responsible for all aspects of ideation, development, commercialization and deployment of Visa’s suite of Loyalty and Benefits solutions, designed to drive increased preference for Visa amongst issuers and consumers and ultimately contribute to PV and revenue growth. Reporting to the Head of Consumer Solutions in AP, the SD, will manage the delivery of a Value Added Service revenue target against Engagement Solutions in AP, develop and manage the solution roadmap for the family of solutions within the group and lead the commercialization process (across pricing, marketing, sales pipeline management and solution integration) in the region. As part of this, the SD will help Visa internal sales teams establish and communicate the Visa Engagement Solutions value proposition and sell the economic value of our partnerships to Visa clients as part of competitive pitches, RFPs and client deals.

Leading a team of direct and dotted line reports in Singapore and across AP, and working closely with a range of key external partners, as well as regional and global counterparts, the role holder will take ownership for a suite of existing solutions as be responsible for their management and evolution, including the development of new capabilities to address new client requirements. The role involves being both an advocate for our partners internally and acting as the Visa specialist to our clients. You will develop the Loyalty narrative for the region, ensuring the solutions and their content are easily understandable and consumable both internally and externally.  You will deliver internal education on the holistic value proposition, thought leadership and - depending on market need- will participate in direct selling of our solutions.

What the Senior Director, Affluent & Consumer Segments does at Visa:

The Senior Director, Affluent & Consumer Segments will be responsible for anticipating, identifying, devising, sizing, planning for and executing Visa’s approach to established and emerging consumer segments in Asia-Pacific.

Initially focused on an overhaul of Visa’s proposition for affluent consumers, the SD, will lead cross-functional initiatives to update our product mix, proposition features, offers, pricing and benefits plans, to determine the best Go-to-market, channel approach and communications strategy. To achieve this the role holder, will lead a small team of direct reports in Visa’s Singapore Hub team, and will be the leader responsible for marshalling cross-functional teams across all main functions of Visa in Singapore and across the region to achieve desired outcomes and goals

The role will require regular liaison with colleagues from across Visa’s other regions (CEMEA, EU, LAC and North America) and very frequent collaboration with Global colleagues in our San Francisco HQ. The role holder will be the thought leader on the Affluent segment in all its facets, for the Asia Pacific region and will be expected to rapidly develop Visa’s position and approach towards other key consumer segments following on from Affluent.  

Reporting to the Head of Consumer Solutions in region, as part of the Consumer Solutions group, the role is to be a visible product leader in the region and across the globe and as such to bring thought leadership, subject matter expertise, people and stakeholder management skills and rigorous process and budget management experience to the role.

Notwithstanding competitive and regulatory headwinds, Visa remains the leader in provision of payment products to the mass-affluent and high net worth segments, a key focus of this role is to retain and grow this business with our issuing partners, merchants and ultimately for these consumers, as well as examining what other affluent segments Visa should seek to attract with new and updated products and propositions. As part of this objective, the role-holder will lead the process of gathering, evaluating and prioritizing product requirements, building a business case for new product features and platforms and executing the build and readiness activities to deliver these solutions.

The SD will also work closely with the Head of Solution Commercialization to oversee the go-to-market and Commercialization activities for new Affluent products and solutions as well as with Visa’s Cross-Border team, Visa Technology, Design & Architecture and Client Services teams to add new product features and customize our solutions based on market needs. The role-holder will be responsible for developing a compelling commercial proposition for each market execution, market sizing, internal and external narrative development, pricing strategy, the approach to IRF and client economics as well as product tech development. The SD will need to be highly collaborative, possess strong program management experience and have solid technical product development experience as well as strong commercial understand. The Analyst will support partnership management initiatives for some of Visa’s most prominent strategic global partners. • Build and maintain the knowledge and history of the Santen pharmaceutical products formulation and fill finish (i.e., for API to Finished Product) from late-stage development (i.e., readiness for Phase III) throughout the commercial lifecycle, working in close collaboration with the respective Global R&D, MSAT and wider Product Supply functional teams. 
• Lead to deliver the assets pharmaceutical formulation and fill finish needs, identification, and mitigation of manufacturing, analytics, and primary container closure systems properties risks, as well as drive process characterization studies and strategies to support post-approval changes for the accountable product(s).  
• Create and establish best practices, knowledge sharing platforms with cross-functional and cross-divisional teams across the business (e.g., R&D, MSAT, QA, SC, Regulatory and Project Management) to ensure all Santen pharmaceutical products are maintained in compliance with current international guidelines and requirements. 

Global MSAT Accountability

• Drive with the respective R&D and GPS functions, the global harmonization and standardization of procedures and methodologies for Santen product late-stage pharmaceutical formulation and fill finish development, primary container closure systems compatibilities, specifications and stability requirements, incl. applying and/or introducing PAT, DoE and QbD approaches (i.e., for API to Finished Product). 
• Develop and establish the GPS formulation and fill finish sciences and technology and primary container closure systems selection decision gates for the development of late-stage product readiness confirmation to enable sustainable and reliable phase III clinical material manufacture and future commercial supply. 
• Contribute to the drafting, review and/or approval of current and new (internal) global and/or local standard operating procedures and guidelines, related to the new roles and responsibilities of the FSTL and Global MSAT organization. 

Technology Transfers of Formulation and Fill Finish Processes 

• Lead the pharmaceutical formulation and fill finish transfer teams of both sending and receiving sites (i.e., internal and/or external with CDMO counterparts) to successfully execute the implementation of all formulation and fill finish processes required for the project, by ensuring all planned activities, timelines, resources, and investments are assessed, planned, executed, and delivered in a timely manner and in budget.

As a UIUX Director, you are responsible for defining the direction of all UI & graphic design assets complementing the existing Art assets and creative direction of the game. • Lead the overall IT Department and Business units in all aspects.
• Oversee all guest-facing technologies in the hotel and ensure reliable product performance, innovative service offerings, and deliver personalized and efficient support for the same.
• Manage the day to day operations and scheduling of IT colleagues.
• Ensure that the team consistently provides a high level of operational stability for property based technology, and high levels of service and support to colleagues and guests.
• Maintain and promote core technology standards and maintain Accor best practices in respect to property systems.
• Ensure that Accor Technology Policies and Procedures are carried out, according to Accor Focus Guide and The Finance & Accounting Policy Manual and as outlined in the Systems Manager user Guide.
• Provide technical expertise and project management for all technology projects.
• Provide twenty-four hour support for mission critical systems as documented in the service escalation document.
• Attend operational meetings as required.
• Effectively communicates technology related plans, actions and decisions with the hotel team.
• Contribute to Technology Services knowledge base.
• Implement and maintain backup and emergency procedures to ensure integrity of programs and data at all times.
• Be fiscally responsible by adhering to set budgetary guidelines.
• Provide point of escalation support to Accor team.

• Perform regular system’s health check and capacities studies to ensure optimum performance of servers and network.

• Manage system changes with appropriate support staff to ensure uninterrupted services.
• Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses (not limit to computers and laptops).
• Includes IT Data Protection, Data back-up, PCI compliance and security according to Accor Policy and Procedures.
• Maintenance contracts are reviewed and put in place for IT systems.
• IT Capital and Operational Expenditure planning (Budgeting, Forecasting and Accruals).
• Conduct PCI training.
• Ensure users are aware of Support processes, Corporate Help Desk.
• On-site technical resource during business hour:
• 8.30am – 6.15pm Monday – Friday
• Required onsite support over special events to be planned accordingly
• Attend operational meetings daily 9.00am

Team Management

• Interview, select and recruit direct reports.
• Identify and develop team members with potential
• Conduct performance review with the team.
• Constantly monitor team members’ appearance, attitude and degree of professionalism.
• Prepare detailed induction programs for new colleagues.
• Develop, conduct maintain all staff training programs for team members, focusing on their development needs, providing them with new skills to meet the changing needs of the business.

Other Responsibilities

• Be aware of the hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedure.

• Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management.
