Duties to Perform:

The Senior Chemical Engineer will work on designing, tendering, and monitoring the installation of bulk chemical and high purity chemical systems for industrial facilities in semiconductors, electronics, biopharma, and related industries. The gas systems include bulk chemicals, high-purity chemicals, slurries, and related distribution networks.

The Senior Chemical Engineer will collate the client’s capacity requirements and specifications and prepare the conceptual design, make a detailed design for system capacity, configuration, schematic, P&ID, PFD, layout, distribution, and system parameters, and prepare documents like the scope of work, reports, pecifications, standards, logistics, and detailed drawings for tender.

The Prospective Candidate will review proposals from contractors and continue to support them during installation when required. The Prospective Candidate will work closely with other disciplines such as Architects, Civil, Cleanroom, Electrical, Automation, Mechanical, and Construction Engineers, as well as CAD/ BIM designer in designing and delivering the project.

Requirements:

You should have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent.

You should have sound experience in designing high-purity chemicals and distribution systems related to semiconductors manufacturing or similar facilities. You should be able to comprehend clients’ URS, and design with concept design, schematics, PFDs, P&IDs, routing layout, the scope of work, specifications, and functional descriptions. The experience in designing Gas systems will be definite added advantage.

Your familiarity with the Semi standards and both Singapore and Malaysia standards, manufacturing tools, materials, and CAD/ BIM will be an added advantage. You should be able to make presentations to clients and engineers on design, tendering, project execution, supervising progress, and quality of work.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks and calibration as per standard operation procedures.
• Carry out fault troubleshooting and equipment failure recovery.
• Review, update and maintain R&M inventory to ensure necessary parts are readily available for repair and maintenance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing strategic projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.

• Storing and filing the projects for future references.
• Staying updated with the latest developments in the various industries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bill of quantity for tendering of subcontract packages including sourcing of subcontractors/suppliers
• Handle contract negotiation with subcontractors/suppliers and prepare Subcontract Agreement
• Handle cost monitoring, adherence to contract specifications and drawings
• Prepare payment certificates of subcontractors
• Evaluate and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreement with subcontractors
• Prepare variation orders and recouncile with the client's Quantity Surveyors in accordance to the contract agreement
• Prepare monthly progess claim to client and assist in preparation of cashflow forecast for submission to client
• Coordinate changes in plans with Design Team and review the potential variation claims to client

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Building / Quantity Surveying/ Civil / Structural Engineering
• Minimum 6 years of local working experience in Construction Industry

System/Network Engineer is to support infrastructure projects, ensuring schedules are in progress, requirements and scope meet and the project executes within management-defined guidelines. The role also includes communication and engagement with various stakeholders within the specific domain.

Job description

• Troubleshooting security and network problems.
• Perform vulnerability assessment using automated tools and recommend actionable follow up to remediate the vulnerabilities and/or threats uncovered.
• Provide maintenance support for security systems and tools, including firewalls and other security technologies, as per the maintenance contract requirements.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups to ensure the security systems are up-to-date and running efficiently.
• Provide incident response support, troubleshoot security incidents, and work closely with end users to resolve issues in a timely resolution.
• Proactivity monitoring, support and troubleshoot network bandwidth capacity and network performance to ensure uninterrupted services.
• Manage and maintain Cisco ISE for network access control and policy enforcement.
• Coordinate and manage local and regional ISP on maintenance, changes, and implementation of WAN (SD_WAN).
• Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing network projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT or Computer Science
• Min 4 years of relevant experience in IT Infrastructure and Operations Automation Experience
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and security compliance standards relevant to network infrastructure.
• Professional Certification and at least 4 years’ hands on experience in routing & switching preferred CCNP.
• Professional Certification and at least 4 years’ hands on experience in network security preferred PCNSE (Palo Alto).
• Professional Certifications and at least 2 years hands on experience in Cyber security and optional CEH, SSCP, ISC2, Microsoft Security Fundamentals (would be an advantage)
• Any relevant Microsoft cloud security certifications (AZ-500, MS-101, MS-500)
• Good Understanding of network and security fundamentals (Concepts, Protocols. Troubleshoots).
• Experience with Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection and latest Microsoft E5 Security Product set
• Experience in testing and evaluating Security products in a Lab environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Positive and professional working attitude, ability to work as a team or individual under stress with minimum supervision and deliver on tight deadlines in fast-paced environment.
• Hands on experience in one or more of the following technologies as below:
• Routing/Switching – Cisco, Meraki
• Network Security – Cisco ISE
