Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining of building facilities on timely - servicing, inspection, equipment re-certification etc..
• Undertake minor repair and maintenance work.
• Conduct daily facilities inspection to identify any defect
• Determine and analyze the cause of defects, breakdowns and faults & provide suggestions to prevent any future occurrences
• Liaise and supervise contractors on facilities repair / renovation works to ensure acceptable standard of work
• Ensure that only authorize users have accessed to locked venue
• Other tasks as assigned by the Management

Requirements:

• Diploma holder in M&E / Civil Engineering or its equivalent
• 2 years of work experience in Facilities & Building Management
• Can work under minimal supervision and is pro-active

• Basic up to $5000 (Depends on experience)
• AWS and VB (Non-contractual)

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and submit tender estimates through calculation and monitoring processes.
• Conduct risk and value analysis, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions outlined in contracts.
• Oversee all aspects of cost estimation, budget management, cost contract purchases, and material handling throughout the contract duration.
• Identify and engage suitable subcontractors for specialized and complex tasks, evaluating subcontractors' invoices and facilitating timely bill settlement.
• Support the Commercial Manager by addressing inquiries and managing billing processes.
• Utilize experience in the Marine Offshore field to comprehend the repair scope specified by clients.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Additional Information:

• Diploma/ Degree in Naval Architecture / Marine / Mechanical Engineering-related studies
• Minimum 4 years working experience in a Shipyard / Marine industry
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage
