Team Leadership and Organizational Growth:

• Guide the expansion of human resources and capabilities to support new programs and country chapters in line with organizational growth strategies.
• Lead a small team of Finance, HR, and Operations staff, providing guidance in managing systems and tools to ensure in-country programs meet donor and partner expectations.
• Oversee the communication and implementation of policies, including the management of the Employee Handbook, ensuring consistency across the organization.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and collaboration with regional and country staff, promoting programmatic success and fostering professional development within the team.
• Work closely with the Head of Partnerships to support operations in Cambodia, the Philippines, and Vietnam, and oversee the organization's programs in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
• Partner with the Executive Director to improve cross-departmental knowledge sharing, break down silos, and champion collaborative, matrixed projects.
• Liaise with external vendors to ensure recruitment processes align with the organization's diversity and inclusion goals, and oversee optimal talent acquisition.
• Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including contracts, visa applications, reference checks, and IT compliance.
• Assist in the organization and smooth execution of governance meetings and events, including Governance Council meetings and the organization's annual Investment Forum.
• Foster a work culture rooted in respect and excellence, ensuring that team members are engaged and motivated to achieve success.
• Represent the organization at external events and develop relationships with key donors and partners.
• Lead and participate in global and regional calls and donor meetings as required.

The Successful Applicant

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business or finance.
• A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience, ideally in multi-country leadership roles focused on climate change or sustainable finance within the food and agriculture sector (across corporate, nonprofit, or consulting roles).
• Proven experience in leading diverse teams and managing budgets and operations across multiple countries, particularly in low-income geographies.
• Strong background in the design, execution, and management of large-scale, multi-country programs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with stakeholders across the public, private, and civil society sectors.
• A high level of integrity and commitment to sustainable development and transforming food systems.
• Emotional intelligence, patience, and an openness to new perspectives.
• A forward-thinking mindset, actively seeking opportunities and suggesting innovative solutions.

Job Scope

• Process invoices, payment requests and reimbursement claims accurately within the stipulated timeframe and in accordance to internal procedures and compliance with tax regulations.
• Follow up actively with the relevant parties to resolve problematic invoices, including sending periodic reminders to vendors to act on disputed invoices.
• Liaise with vendors and users to facilitate prompt processing of invoices including those under Direct Debit Authorisation (DDA).
• Accrue unprocessed invoices, payment request and reimbursement claims at month-end to meet month-end closing schedule provided by institution.
• Prepare and submit/post journals for reclassification and adjustments, recurring transactions within institutions’ timeline.
• Train and guide junior staff and assist in resolving difficulties encountered by them.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/Finance
• At least 1 year of working experience
