Asia Pacific Oncology Drug Development Consortium (APODDC) was formed to foster education and collaboration between key stakeholders of cancer drug development within the Asia Pacific region, thereby improving treatment access to patients. APODDC drives regional activities in collaboration with institutions in the region and industry partners.

ATORG and APODDC operate centrally under the Clinical Trials and Epidemiological Sciences (CTE) division in National Cancer Centre Singapore.

About Us:

The Program in Translational and Clinical Liver Cancer Research is a dynamic enterprise within the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) that conducts leading clinical and translational research in primary liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)). Nested within the program is the Secretariat of the Asia-Pacific Hepatocellular Carcinoma (AHCC) Trials Group. The AHCC Trials Group is a collaborative multi-national research network that spans across the Asia Pacific region, and actively engages in a spectrum of clinical trials translation research and clinical trials that ultimately aim address unmet clinical needs of HCC.

Job Description:

This role is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys thinking and managing projects independently but also as a team player.

You will be part of an active research enterprise management team that closely works with other teams in clinical research coordination, wet laboratory research and bioinformatics. The Program encompasses a wide range of of biomedical research from upstream and translational studies to prospective multi-site clinical studies. A Job Placement Executive is responsible for providing job matching, job coaching and job support services for clients in open employment. As part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team, which include Allied Health Professionals such as the Psychologist & Occupational Therapist, they provide career counselling, behavioural and work performance interventions in assisting clients sustain their employment. A Job Placement Executive has to also work closely with their clients' caregivers, existing & potential employers as well as partners & stakeholders such as training providers, community case & social workers, training officers & other job coaches in jointly providing holistic job support to their clients for employment success & sustainability.
