• 70%+ of the region consists of joint ventures which are run by entrepreneurs which we consolidate and need to ensure proper controls in place.
• Multiple ERP systems and manual intensive processes. Regional ERP implementation ongoing
• Distributed controllership environment. Shared services strategy under development
• Significant opportunities and low-hanging fruits to standard finance and accounting processe
Key Responsibilities:
This role is a core member of the APAC HQ team. The mission of the person is 2 fold.
Transformation of the Finacne Organization. This include but not limited to the following:
â–ª Division Operating Profit implementation / roll out
â–ª New Planning Tool Rollout
â–ª Legal Entity Reduction
â–ª Create / prepare Statutory KPI for Joint Ventures
â–ª Working Capital roll out including new DPO (Days Payable)
â–ª Cash Flow forecasting and automation of reconciliation with bank balance
Business Controlling
â–ª Be the FP&A for selected region/business to partner with business managers to drive:
• Monthly business profitability / monitor/understand/analysis of key KPI for business success
• Budget process
• Forecast process.
Promote sustainable business growth by strengthening financial stewardship and promoting an effective control environment
The person will collaborate with the Finance leadership in the APAC + India to execute the above deliverables.
REQUIREMENTS
• Qualification: Recognized Degree in Accountancy/Finance with solid accounting and process knowledge. (CPA/ACCA preferred though not required)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Finance.
• Project management skills is an advantage.
• Positive attitude and self-starter, going the extra mile.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Advanced MS Excel skill is required as the role requires analysis and automation of reporting Advantage
• Experience with process improvements and reporting automation is preferred.
• Experience in MS Dynamics ERP (D365) is an added advantage.
• Other Good PC skills including MS ppt, consolidation tool such as HFM, etc.
• Exposure to JV partnership support and accounting a plus.
• Treasury experience and FX hedging expertise highly valued
