The role of the Room Attendant is to ensure that the rooms are well cleaned and tidy ready to sell to the guests.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Check and stock up all the necessary linens and supplies required for the day.

2. To check all room status is the same as on the Room Attendant daily report. To report any discrepancy found to the Supervisor immediately.

3. Responsible for cleaning a minimum of fifteen (15) rooms daily.

4. Replenish all amenities according to the Operational Standards.

5. Perform rotation cleaning duties (thorough cleaning, shampoo carpet cleaning etc) as required.

6. Responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance of her/his work area and ensure security of guestrooms and privacy of guests.

7. Check and report faulity items that needed repair to the Floor Supervisors/Housekeeping office while in the process of cleaning the guestrooms.

8. Check Room Safe and set dials for check-out and vacant clean rooms.

9. Report and hand in any Lost and Found items to the Floor Supervisors/Housekeeping office.

10. Check and record the number of soiled linen correctly and enter it in the Linen Changing list before exchange for clean linens at the Linen Room.

• Responsible for developing, and implementing strategies, including the food and beverage program, to improve the profitability of the bars. Oversee the entire staffing process, ensuring the restaurant is adequately and efficiently manned
• Develop a budget and evaluate business financial performance
• Prepare detailed weekly, quarterly, and yearly business performance reports
• Work with a reporting Outlet Manager to develop operational strategies and execution to ensure the bars continue to meet brand and service guidelines
• Work with Executive Chef to improve and maintain food offerings that would boost brand and profitability strategies
• Plan, evaluate and optimize operations to be efficient and cost-effective on expenses
• Develop sales processes, routines, and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the team
• Be hands-on when needed to review existing organizational efficiency
• Research and develop opportunities and plans, understanding market requirements, identify market trends in F&B and bar scenes, and suggest improvements to achieve the company's goals
• Establish new business plans and teams to develop business opportunities with new potential customers
• Guide other departments in the bars (security and maintenance) to ensure a safe and clean environment
• Constantly reassess staff performance indicators and provide feedback to management and team

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or business administration.
• Oversee and manage the outlet’s P&L by meeting monthly sales target.
• Develop and establish a financial budget and plan.
• Resilient and ability to perform under pressure. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Preferably with setting up of outlet experience.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES *

Manage and undertake F&B establishment operations:

Maintain workers' safety, health and hygiene standards

Ensure workers' workstations are clean and tidy for food preparation

Ensure workers maintain hygiene and properly maintain cleaned equipment and tools

Monitor production and schedule the variety and quantity of goods to bake

Keep track of deliveries, inventory and ingredient levels

Perform quality control to ensure food meets strict quality and safety standards

Coach and onboard new team members/workers

In charge of closing and opening the store

Ensure displays are well maintained and clean

Do cashiering when cashier not around

Handle customer queries

Perform any other ad hoc duties when assigned

JOB SCOPE

Bellhop will be responsible to greet the guests upon their arrival at the Hotel, offering assistance to carry the luggage's and directing them to the reception counter for check-in.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Open vehicle doors for incoming and outgoing guests/patrons.
• Count number of pieces of luggage received and confirm with the guests to ensure that no luggage is missing.
• See that the Front driveway is clear at all times.
• Accompany the guests to the assigned rooms and explain all facilities in the room.
• Inform and sell all other hotel facilities to guests.
• Upon check-out, carry the luggages down to the Lobby and direct the guests to the Front Office Cashiers.
• Deliver messages, parcels, faxes etc to the guest rooms.
• Help to keep the Lobby area clean at all times.
• Run errands, and carry luggages for room change.
• Lead and show guests to the location where they requested to go to.
• Keep all luggages for safe keeping in an orderly manner and enter in the luggage storage control sheet for the luggage room. To report to Superior any damage of the luggage.
• Use security netting to secure large number of luggages for storage upon request.
• Hand any lost articles left in the Lobby to the Superior.
• Be careful not to damage the lift walls or corridor walls when using the trolley.
• Maintain the conditions of the equipment, e.g. polishing
• Perform other duties as and when assigned by the Management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Possess at least a GCE ‘N’ Level/Lower Secondary or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in related field
• Able to communicate in English
• Able to lift heavy and large items
• Positive working attitude and customer-centric
• Able to work independently and as well as in a team
• Able to work on three (3) rotating shifts jobs.
• Able to work 6 days work week including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
• Able to commence employment within short notice period.
