Job Description

• The candidate is expected to conduct original and quality research in one of the following areas: Computational Physics, Theoretical Physics, and Astrophysics. The candidate is also expected to be able to attract research funding from various public research agencies in Singapore, such as MOE and NRF.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to oversee our Customer Service and Travel Curation team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the seamless operation of our travel curation process, timely delivery of curated travel packages, and exceptional customer service to uphold our company's reputation. The successful candidate will lead a team, manage relationships with overseas operators, handle client complaints effectively, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to travel deals on our platform.

• Oversee Travel Curation Process: Directly manage the travel curation team to ensure the timely creation and updating of travel packages. Coordinate with the sales team to align travel offerings with market demands and promotional activities.
• Manage Customer Service Operations: Lead the customer service team to deliver outstanding support to clients, addressing inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
• Vendor Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with overseas operators and travel partners. Negotiate contracts, secure favorable terms, and monitor performance to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish and monitor KPIs related to travel deals on our platform, with a focus on achieving a minimum 30% contribution to total offerings from the Uplay portal. Analyze performance metrics, generate reports, and provide insights to drive continuous improvement.
• Operational Efficiency: Streamline processes and workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity within the customer service and travel curation teams.
• Adherence to Policies and Regulations: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all aspects of customer service, travel curation, and vendor management activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).
• Experience in customer service management and/or travel industry operations is an advantage
• Min 3 years of relevant experience

Imperial College London and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) are seeking an Assistant Programme Director for the Imperial/NTU CYber Protection for HEalthcaRe (IN-CYPHER) research programme on the cybersecurity of connected medical devices and systems. The research programme represents a collaboration between the United Kingdom and Singapore and will be based at the newly established Imperial Global Singapore (IGS) as National Research Foundations Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE) located on the campus of the National University of Singapore. This senior role will be responsible for leading the coordination of the IN-CYPHER research team, working across the themes in collaboration with the Programme Co-Directors.

IN-CYPHER is comprised of four interacting themes, spanning the design of intelligent medical devices through to the use of their data in informing personalised healthcare. Allied to other programmes in Singapore and the UK, it represents a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of research and development into securing the vital information that flows between implantable, wearable and connected medical devices, including those currently in use, and those yet to be developed. The four themes of IN-CYPHER are:

• Theme 1 Protecting Implantable Devices
• Theme 2 Securing Connected Wearables & Healthcare Systems
• Theme 3 Algorithms for Privacy, Security and Provenance
• Theme 4 Clinical Innovation & Translation

One area of personalised medicine resides in the use of data for closed-loop drug delivery, including insulin delivery. With key researchers and teams from both Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, we seek to develop threat models that are suitable for emerging approaches to personalised medicine, and particularly where data-driven techniques might offer improvements to patient outcomes.

Given the span of the IN-CYPHER programme, we are looking to build up an interdisciplinary team of highly motivated engineers, scientists, and researchers to represent the founding team of the IN-CYPHER programme. The Assistant Programme Director, IN-CYPHER will be tasked with leading the coordination of this team working across the themes in collaboration with the Programme Co-Directors.

The collaborating Departments include senior academics from the Department of Metabolism, Digestion and Reproduction and the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial – the largest Biomedical Engineering Department in the UK – and senior researchers from the School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE), School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at Nanyang Technological University. Candidates will be employed by Imperial Global Singapore, a research division of Imperial College London, consistently ranked within the top 10 of the QS University Rankings.
