Assistant Corporate Secretary
This position reports to our Corporate Services Manager, who has more than ten years of experience in Corporate Services. You will be liaising directly with our ever-expanding international client base to understand their business, maintain a strong relationship with the clients, and advise them on any corporate issues they may face.
Responsibilities
· Assisting in corporate secretarial work, including advisory work, preparing resolutions and meeting minutes.
· Handling ACRA lodgements.
· Providing advice on compliance requirements and ensuring client’s compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for Singapore or offshore jurisdictions.
· Providing regular reviews/updates and maintaining proper records of clients’ KYC/CDD compliance.
· Maintaining proper updates of companies’ registers and statutory records via the corporate secretarial software.
· Working as a team within the corporate secretarial department to ensure timely progression of workflow, quick turnaround time of client work, and maintaining high-level clients’ services.
· Assist in cross-selling other services provided by other arms of the Company when an opportunity arises.
· Gather clients’ feedback for improving the service-providing process.
· Maintain a strong and ongoing relationship with clients by occasionally updating new and exclusive services.
· Other ad-hoc duties that the Manager may assign from time to time.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of relevant working experience in corporate secretarial work.
- Diploma or degree holder with a background in, but not limited to, accounting or legal studies.
- Fresh graduates of SAICSA/CSIS/MAICSA or currently pursuing SAICSA/CSIS/MAICSA are welcome.
- Good listener, able to elicit information efficiently and effectively.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Fast learner, you can expect to gain knowledge from various areas in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player who can multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Be suggestive, creating new and better ways for the company to be successful.
- Prior Experience in handling corporate secretarial work for offshore jurisdictions is preferred.
Salary: SGD2,500 - SGD3,000
Working Hours: 9 am to 6 pm, Mon to Fri
