Applications are invited for a Research Associate position in the Centre for International Law (CIL), National University of Singapore. This is a one-year contractual position offered in connection with CIL’s expansion of its research on artificial intelligence and technology law. The objective of the position is to develop the research capabilities and knowledge of junior scholars by immersing them in a dynamic and supportive research environment where they can enhance their understanding of different areas of international law and policy.

The duties of the incumbent will involve:

• Assisting the AI and Technology Law Lead in research related to the programme’s ongoing projects in AI regulation, technology law, and related areas, including CIL’s role as an official observer in forums discussing the legal frameworks for AI and emerging technologies. The Human Resources Manager is a strategic partner responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function at Aurora Health. This position plays a critical role in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and company policies. The HR Manager will lead a team and collaborate with various departments to create a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and candidate selection.
Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new employees are integrated seamlessly.

2. Employee Relations and Engagement:Act as a liaison between management and employees, addressing employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
Foster a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and recognition programs.

3. Performance Management:Develop and administer performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to managers on setting clear performance goals and providing constructive feedback.
Identify and implement strategies to improve employee performance and productivity.

4. Training and Development:Identify training needs and coordinate the design and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and development.

5. Compliance and Policy Implementation:Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees and management.

6. Benefits Administration:Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and facilitate open enrollment processes.

7. HR Metrics and Reporting:Compile and analyze HR data, including turnover rates, retention, and demographics, to inform strategic decision-making.
Generate regular reports for senior management on HR key performance indicators (KPIs).

8. Legal Compliance and Risk Management:Stay current with labor laws and regulations to ensure the organization's compliance.
Mitigate legal risks by implementing effective HR policies and practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 2 years of progressive experience in human resources management.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) preferred.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Singaporean labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
