As an integral member of the Investment Strategy team, the Senior Manager / Manager will help shape and influence the overall direction of Sun Venture’s externally managed funds. This role reports directly to the Head of the Business Group (BG) and is responsible for ensuring business continuity, continuous improvement, and growth in areas such as business control, financial planning, and budgeting. Additionally, this role involves managing a regional finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in delivering effective business and financial solutions for both tactical and strategic decisions.
• Work closely with management to drive business and financial performance improvements.
• Identify and support opportunities for continuous business operations improvement.
• Conduct budget reviews, manage performance assessments, and ensure effective monitoring.
• Evaluate capital expenditures and oversee the monitoring of return on investments.
• Coordinate strategic planning and resource allocation for the Business Unit's long-term goals.
• Develop the Group's competencies and resources in financial management.
• Oversee all operations and structures related to financial and business control.
• Analyze, coordinate, and report business and financial performance to Management, including financial projections and special projects.
• Prepare both short-term and long-term financial forecasts.
• Develop and implement accounting and administrative policies and procedures for various activities, including reporting and corporate policies.
• Build, lead, and strengthen the finance team.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting from a mainstream university preferred.
• A CPA/Masters would be preferred
• Minimum 10 years' strategic financial management experience gained from a corporate/MNC environment with a significant manufacturing asset/s base

Responsibilities:

Project/Delivery Management:

• Deliver the project through to post-live support in accordance with the agreed Scope of Work.
• Ensure the alignment of the new OSS/BSS and GIS with the systems that will be retained post-live.
• Partner with the SI and internal/external stakeholders in the project planning, communication, design, implementation, resourcing, testing activities (Infra, ST, SIT, UAT, PT), data migration and deployment activities leading to production go-live.
• Partner with business users and IT SMEs to deliver the project within scope, cost, time and quality requirements.
• Align the team and identify the associated inter-dependencies and risks and work to resolve these.
• Monitor and track the status of work streams, key issues and costs.
• Input into project dashboards and reports for updates on project status and issues.
• Track and update resources plan, provide input for resource requirements forecasting.
• Review and ensure that vendor deliverables meet contractual obligations.
• Ensure the timely completion of project activities and deliverables, timely escalation of open issues, closure of all issues and the sign-offs from the respective stakeholders.
• Manage the changes to the project scope, schedule and cost.
• Facilitate Change Request Process with the SI.

Project Risk Management:

• Manage the company’s contractual obligations.
• Manage and track the scope, timelines, milestones and committed deliverables closely.
• Identify project risks (internal and external), develop mitigation plans with the relevant stakeholders and ensure the timely execution of the risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure that project risks impacting scope, time, quality and cost of deliverables and contingencies are discussed through the appropriate escalation process in a timely manner.
• Monitor, enforce and track project deliverables.
• Track and maintain the Issues log, Risk Log.

Stakeholder and People Management:

• Manage internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain a collaborative culture.
• Work with the team to solve technical and business issues.
• Manage conflicts if and when they occur.
• Work with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful project outcome.
• Obtain stakeholders buy-in while ensuring that they are aware of their responsibilities and deliverables, including the associated deadlines.

Administrative:

• Project planning and coordinate project activities, resources and systems.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, dashboards and reports.
• Ensure all documents and trackers are up-to-date, accurate and properly filed.
• Ensure all meeting minutes with action items are properly documented and reviewed.
• Track and consolidate project progress from work streams.
• Track project milestones and deliverables. Ensure action items are acted upon in a timely manner.
• Monitor and track project progress and handle any issues that arise. Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants.
• Assist in managing appropriate official paperwork, such as purchase orders, invoices etc.
• Attend to any other reasonable duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent with min 10 years of relevant working experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Project Management.
• Have experience in requirements analysis, business process, design, implementation, testing, data migration, training, deployment and production cutover.
• Strong technical knowledge in the areas of software implementation, telecommunications, and telecommunications operations.
• Proven experience in implementing OSS/BSS or GIS Network Planning System.
• Well-organized, attention to detail, able to multi-task.
• Motivated, goal-oriented and self-driven with a positive working attitude.
• Able to work independently and as a team.
• Effective time management, analytical and logical decision-making ability.
• Good vendor management and able to communicate fluently in English.
