• Identification and development of business development strategies, working with Event Directors to target new market sectors and regions
• Development of market analysis and opportunity assessment for brand growth and new revenue growth opportunities
• Collaboration with Exhibitor Marketing teams to develop attraction campaigns which could drive business development opportunities
• Support on the on-site re-booking of new business customers, and begin the handover of customers onto the account management team
• Support (where necessary) in the retention of existing customers
• To account manage newly acquired customers through their first show cycle to ensure a positive experience and provide resolution advice where necessary, working with other business functions (e.g. Marketing, Brand or Event Operations)
• Liaise with the Event Director in relation to key high value new customers, and Sales Operations with regards to available spots on the floor plan
• Adoption of sales pipeline process and data quality maintenance through use of Salesforce (CRM system)
• Manage the capture and entry of Sales contract information
• Manage sales information and customer requirements (via Salesforce) to Sales Operations and Event teams
• Act as an informal mentor to Business Development Executives within the Sales team, to share industry knowledge and experience
• Support overdue payment collection for accounts under management
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

The Manager, People Advisor is a generalist with a client-centric mindset to provide consultative, advisory services to support People Leaders and leading with empathy in responding to workplace matters and interactions.

What a People Advisor Manager does at Visa:

• Single point of Accountability for areas which include but are not limited to individual talent development advisory, annual compensation review, performance management, employee engagement, annual talent management review, bi-annual promotion cycle, conflict resolution, and other policy interpretation and consultation.
• Coach and challenge People Leaders on a variety of people-related situations and programs like performance management, conflict resolution, talent development, annual review support, etc. Coaches & develops strong, empathetic leaders to ensure people leaders have the attributes aligned to Visa’s Leadership Principles facilitates coaching and training as needed
• Lead efforts with People Leaders to facilitate effective management of teams and resolve issues that may arise in the workplace between employees and managers.
• Provide detailed analytics and interpretation of data to drive informed business decisions in the areas of accountability, ensure operational excellence in reporting and data management in the areas of accountability.
• Respond to inquiries and provide overall cross functional support as needed, partner with COEs and the business to design and deliver best in class People initiatives in the areas of accountability
• Reporting to the People Advisor lead for the respective client group, the incumbent will play a key role on elevating the people leader experience
• Provide support for regulatory / legislative reporting and processes required in the HR domain for the respective market supported, where applicable

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

• Manage sizable commercial (Non-Named Enterprises, Midmarket & SME) business in Singapore

• Must have experience handling commercial accounts and partners in Singapore

• Understands the power of channels and has strong channel CXO level relationships with both T2 partners and Distributors

• Experience in both direct and  channel sales a plus

• Territory business planning and execution - understands and has executed partner programs and incentives

• Technology orientation and can articulate well at CXO levels

• Proficiency in driving growth through the process - By leveraging Partner Account Planning, marketing, channels, etc.

• Strong exposure in working with Inside sales team and is seen as a territory leader

• Great communication and presentation skills

• Proven track record by exceeding business quotas regularly for the last 2+ years
