Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

Service Logistics IT unit supports bringing in new sales, managing projects for onboarding of new customers as well as providing Business Analyst expertise in solutioning of IT systems.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Assistant IT Manager/IT Manager works with the Back Office HR & IT team to support and ensure the efficient and effective daily office operations, smooth internal workflow, and coordination of processes.

IT & Network Responsibilities (50%)

The Department and position

The department is responsible for development and maintenance of Capital Market applications used by worldwide users.

“Run the bank” is the first mission of IT department. • Internal Audit is an independent function (3rd line of Defence) within GXS Bank that provides an objective assurance and advisory role to senior management.
• We use a systematic, disciplined risk-based approach to evaluate and assess risks, processes and internal controls, while aligning them to the Bank’s overall digital strategy.
• Internal Audit covers multiple businesses, technology and other corporate functions within the Bank.

Get to know the Role:

• As a business auditor, you are responsible to conduct audit activities that cover the end-to-end business-aligned portfolios such as Consumer Banking Products (e.g. Deposit, Lending and Investment), Credit Management, Digi-Operations etc. You are expected to have experience in consumer credit risk management processes, including credit underwriting, portfolio management and collection practices. First line of defence experience in these areas will be an added advantage.
• Exposures may extend to supporting corporate function audits that cover corporate functions such as Finance, Compliance and Human Resources. Added advantage if you have other areas of audit experience like AML, Outsourcing, ICAAP & Model Risk.
• You effectively plan, manage and execute audits, including the design of audit test steps to evaluate the risks associated with (but not limited to) governance, business management, financial, operational, regulatory, and business continuity.
• You maintain well documented audit work papers including supporting documents/ evidence in the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system, which are subject to regular internal quality assurance review.
• You are able to execute and complete audit projects by adhering to audit methodology, key phases and assigned timelines.
• Keep abreast of MAS regulations & guidelines relating to FIs and banks.
• Added advantage if you are familiar with current technology tools (e.g. Tableau) or able to develop use cases for Rule Based Analytics/ Machine Learning to enhance risk profiling of business and fieldwork execution, so as to proactively manage emerging risks.

The day-to-day activities:

• Support the Head of Business Audit as part of the Audit team.
• Plan and perform risk-based assessments, understand and evaluate the business environment, related controls and processes.
• Execute audit reviews and fieldworks, including work paper documentation, drafting of audit findings and leading the issue discussion internally and with stakeholders.
• Assist to draft audit reports and participate in the presentation of audit findings.
• Ensure effective and timely execution of audit projects in accordance with audit methodology and timelines.
• You may be required to participate/ support in ad-hoc projects, special thematic review or special independent investigation.
• Build and maintain healthy relationships with different levels of management, stakeholders, and be a trusted risk advisor on control related matters.
• Actively participate in driving data analytics capabilities including the maintenance of audit workflow system (i.e. GRC), so as to improve the effectiveness of Internal Audit.

The must haves:

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance or equivalent, with professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIA) as an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of audit experience in Consumer Banking (end-to-end) and/or Corporate Functions
• Strong knowledge of key regulations (e.g. MAS 635, MAS 612, Credit Card and Charge Card Regulations 2013 etc.)
• Highly competent with audit methodologies and concepts including the agile audit methodology
• An excellent team player
• Confidence in dealing with senior stakeholders
• Able to work independently and possess the courage to challenge risk-decisions made by senior stakeholders, from a 3rd line of defence perspective
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties:

· Understanding the BRD and conducting requirement gathering by various means like brainstorming, workshops, Questionnaire and working with different stakeholders of the cash management team like Product Managers (Global as well as In Country), Client Services, Implementation, Operations and Finance.

· Mapping the identified functional requirements to Global Payment System (GPS) / Transaction Processing Hub(TPH) payment products and defining a solution with the help of it to full fill the payment processing.

· Do Fit-Gap Analysis of the Business Requirements and design solutions in GPS/TPH to minimize the Gaps and use the product capabilities to address the business requirements.

· Provide Defect Triage analysis of the issue raised by Quality Assurance team.

· Identifying the scope of the requirements, validating the requirements.

· Working with Lead Business Analyst & Technology partner i.e., Solution Architects to agree on the solution.

· Working as a liaison between Business users, operations and Developers.

· Preparing various documents like BRD, FSD and reviewing SIT Test scenarios and Test Cases.

· Working with different stakeholders for product collateral and training needs.

· Overall responsible for ensuring User acceptance testing for all the streams.

· Working with Integration partners and other vendors within bank.

· Identify & resolve issues and manage project risks, supporting different teams, chairing & documenting meetings.

· Working with SIT & UAT Testing Team, reviewing, testing scenarios, test cases and helping developers and testers in clearing their doubts about the requirements etc.

· Supporting the business users for User Acceptance Testing for new payment products and cash management reporting soultions.

· Supporting Operations team / Business Users team to complete the testing.

· Lead Defect Management related actives.

Job Requirements:

· The position requires a minimum of 9 years relevant business analyst experience with banking IT systems (Payment systems and Core Banking applications) and experience of at least one full cycle implementation of GPP/ GPS/TPH payment platforms for any country or region, preferably in Asia.

Functional Skills

· Good functional knowledge on GPP-SP/GPS/TPH payment platform for domestic and Cross-border Payments as administrator with strong capability to provide in house solutions via business Configuration.

· Knowledge of below interfaces of payment processing software :

o Compliance

o LV payments

o Accounting

o Correspondence Banking

o Fund Check

o FX

· Hands on experience on payment systems and exposure to Payments Hub, Clearing and Settlement, Automated clearing house programs and channels.

· Extensive knowledge on various kinds of payment products such as TT, RTGS, LVP(NEFT), Immediate Payments (IMPS), UPI.2.0, BillDesk, Payroll, Cheque, DD, Cashier Order, Mass & Bulk payments

· Expertise in SWIFT interfacing

· Proficient in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Functional & System Integration testing of banking and financial applications

· Experience in all phases of the IT system development life cycle like design, implementation, testing, deployment and support.

· Good exposure to software engineering best practices

· Experience working in agile development methodology.

· Hands-on experience with BDD framework and UML (for use case / business case definitions).

· Exposure to test automation frameworks and methodologies to work with Automation testers

· Comfortable working with SQL database queries.

· Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
