About the job

This role will report directly to the People Director and will be leading a team of 4. You will be responsible to:

• Serve as a strategic business partner for the Singapore office, collaborating with directors and managers to address their HR needs including recruitment, training, compliance with employment laws, staff grievances, and other related requirements.
• Manage the entire employee life cycle, from pre-onboarding to offboarding and internal transfers, ensuring smooth administration of all personnel movements.
• Develop the skill sets of the Singapore People Team in alignment with the competency framework and Group-level expectations.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and initiatives of the People Team, supporting group-wide projects and employer branding efforts.
• Coordinate monthly payroll activities with the Finance department to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Lead compensation and benefits projects, such as annual salary reviews and performance-based or variable bonus administration.
• Lead the performance management process, including mid- and end-of-probation reviews, mid-year evaluations, and annual performance reviews.

Skills and experience required

• Bachelor Degree in Human Resources/ Business administration or related field
• Min. 10 years of experience in Human Resource as a Generalist.
• International experience, skilled in dealing with/supporting ex-pats, secondees and non-locals.

• A combined history of almost 50 years.
• GB1 for General Builder, Main Contractor with impressive track record in private landed housing project.
• 5.5 days work week | Mon - Fri & Sat Half day

Responsibilities

• Liaise with architects, subcontractors, consultants as well as authorities; setting guidelines and provide your expertise and supervision towards the team.
• Manage and allocate resources to ensure its availability throughout the construction projects, when needed.
• Ensuring work are in accordance to the contract drawings, specifications and expected quality.
• Project planning and management
• Coordinate with internal and external resources so as to ensure projects adhere to scope, schedule, as well as budget.

Requirements

• Min Diploma or Degree in Construction management, Project Management, or any other construction and engineering-related.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience towards residential landed housing OR Singapore building experience.

The Role

This is a leadership position in selling HMT products and services, through either direct or territorial representatives, to specific assigned area or product group. The Job

Sales activities:

• Conduct business development and sales activities by email, phone and in person to generate revenue for HMT Asia Pacific regional business.
• Assist customers to select the right equipment for their applications.
• Achieve specification of products for projects and facilities in the territory.
• Generate proposals, including equipment selection, cost estimating and proposal writing.
