The Research Officer (RO) will be part of a strategic project to monitor the implementation and evaluate a new care model in SingHealth Community Hospitals.

The RO will be responsible for performing data collection, coding, analysis and accurate interpretation of results for the project, including conducting interviews with patients. The RO supports monthly project meetings as secretariat to present project status updates and review key findings with the project team. He/she also assists to prepare the quarterly performance review and review performance with project team before submission. The RO will participate in the preparation of abstracts, posters, and manuscripts, as well as conduct literature reviews. He/she will perform other related duties as assigned.

The position will be for a contract period of one year.

The junior data scientist will join the Precision Radiotherapeutics and Oncology Programme (PROP). The scope of the projects conducted under the premise of PROP includes 1) early- and late-phase clinical trials; 2) cancer genomics and data science; and 3) translational cancer and radiation biology. For this role, the selected individual will be mainly working with the Principal Investigator (PI) and the research team under Theme 2.

Theme 2 projects involve studying cancer genomics of two main cancers, nasopharyngeal and prostate cancer. The data scientist will be required to analyse next generation sequencing (NGS) datasets, such as whole transcriptome sequencing, whole exome sequencing and/or panel sequencing data. He/she will also be involved in inter-departmental and cross-institution collaborations. Job Descriptions

• Assist the Manager in overseeing the Fixed Asset Operation, including reviewing the accounting entries, month-end reports, printing of assets tag, preparing the accounting schedules.
• Review, standardize, and streamline Fixed Asset capitalization processes to enhance efficiency.
• Conduct Asset Verification Exercises (AVE) and implement process controls for accurate and timely recording and maintenance of Fixed Assets.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Fixed Asset policies and procedures.
• Engage with Research Institutes to enhance their understanding of Fixed Asset processes.
• Generate management reports on Fixed Assets, addressing ad-hoc queries.
• Handle audit queries related to Fixed Assets and ensure all audit-related activities are conducted in accordance with established standards.

Job Requirements

• Only Singaporean need to apply.
• Degree/ Diploma in Accounting & Finance field.
• Experience in Fixed Asset Management within shared service environment is an addition!
