As a Senior Systems Engineer at IP-Tribe, you will join a team of dedicated engineers. In this role, you will work in technical environments to provide professional, high-quality support and assistance to our customers.

Responsibilities:
· Lead the response to support requests and escalations
· Provide technical support remotely and on-site
· Diagnose and resolve critical customer issues until closure
· Lead and conduct thorough testing of systems and solutions
· Perform scheduled 24/7 standby TAC (Technical Assistance Centre) duty
· Maintain good client relationships through proactive communication and solution delivery
· Track, manage, and report on work records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
· Generate, compile, and analyze detailed job reports and metrics
· Lead, mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing expertise and best practices
· Lead continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing system enhancements
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and resolve complex issues
· Participate in the design and architecture of systems, and contribute to strategic planning
· Fulfil additional duties as assigned by the Manager
Requirements:
Experience & Knowledge
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunication Engineering or a related field from a reputable university
· Minimum of 7 years and above of experience in telecommunications with a proven track record in a senior or lead role
· Extensive experience with Linux Operating Systems, telecommunications, IP telephony, AWS cloud, Kubernetes, database systems, data networking, 3GPP diameter and HTTP protocols
· In-depth knowledge of Business Support Systems (BSS), Online Charging Systems (OCS), Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF), Diameter Edge Agent (DEA), and Diameter Routing Agent (DRA).
· Proficiency with any cloud platforms and services, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
· Professional certifications in relevant areas (e.g., Firewalls, AWS, Red Hat, Database Systems, Kubernetes, Linux) are highly advantageous.
· Proven ability to handle complex technical issues and deliver high-quality support, in a pressurizing environment.
