The incumbent is responsible to support the SVP in Business Development to provide commercial and technical support, covering all technical and business areas in Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) Group, in order to shape up customer needs.

He/she is required to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders (such as customer, investor, insurer, vendor and MHI Group) to achieve successful results to support the achievement of MHI medium term business plan.

He/she is also responsible for supporting all Business Units in MHI-AP in collaborating with each Business Domain and SBUs in MHI Group to expand business growth areas in the Asia Pacific region; provide leadership in the business development activities for the energy transition solutions (such as power plant, CO2 capture, CO2 utilization technologies, biomass, engines, fuel cells and Liquefied CO2 & Ammonia vessels), New Mobility & Logistics business.

Job responsibility

Business Development & BU Business Support

• Provide commercial and technical support in order to shape up customer needs.
• Collaboration with global solution business projects in which Global HQ will invest capital, as a regional liaison
• Understand customer needs from technical point of view, provide concrete proposal;
• Conduct investigation and analysis for the technical development against competing companies;
• Conduct investigation and discussion for the promising partner companies in AP region;
• Preparation of presentation materials targeted for the specific projects
• Oversee and support all Business Units in MHI-AP, collaborating with Strategic Business Units (SBUs) in MHI Headquarters
• ·Reporting & Sharing of information to formulate winning strategy
• Sourcing of new technology that MHI GHQ holds
• To deliver the initial project scheme & structure
• Strategic Interface & negotiation critical to the success of a deal
• To create project realization path ways

Job requirement

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years working experience in a Plant and/or Engineering Industry
• Japanese Language proficiency of JLPT N1 or equivalent is mandatory as this role requires the incumbent to communicate with Japanese internal counterparts and external suppliers on a daily basis
• Good business acumen with proven business development track records
• Knowledge of project management and EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) works
• Technical presentation skill with value engineering methodology

Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen sections in the absence of Head Chef.
• Prepare ingredients, wash vegetables, clean, cut, and assist the Chef.
• Monitor personal hygiene, uniform cleanliness, and workstation sanitation.
• Help with refrigerator cleaning and workstation setup.
• Understand the risks of contaminated food and manage mise-en-place in the fridge.
• Check and report equipment issues to supervisors.
• Properly store products in the fridge with a first-in-first-out system and avoid placing items on the floor.
• Assist in collecting food supplies and document stock requisitions.
• Maintain cleanliness of trolleys and workstations, and follow health and safety rules.
• Perform other tasks as instructed by supervisors.

As Business Development Director, you will be responsible for developing, defining and driving the growth market by winning new business from both new and existing customers. Working as part of the Regional Leadership team to develop and document the overall market growth plan including strategy, targeting approach, contact strategy and develop suitable value propositions to acquire new relationships and expand existing client relationships.

WSHC Roles and Responsibilities
• Assist WSHO to update & maintain records of the incidents and all circumstances and events occurring.
• Coordinate with WSHO on EHS issues
• Assist WSHO to perform monthly site audits/inspection.
• Carry out daily inspection to ensure all works are carried out in a safe manner through the elimination of unsafe acts and unsafe conditions on site
• Work closely with site Operations Executives and Person in Charge at Projects on all Workplace Safety and Health issues.
• Assist to coordinate, conduct or facilitate Health & Safety training activities and safety meetings.
• Assist to maintain company's Integrated Management System (IMS), system compliance through audits and documentation

Requirements:

1. At least a Professional certificate / Nitec or equivalent.
2. Must possess at least an Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health by BCA.
3. Must possess professional knowledge in Law and regulations (WSH Act and Environment).
4. At least 3 years of working experience in construction industry.
5. A good team player with good communication skills and multi-tasking.

8. Able to write and speak in English and Mandarin as need to liaise with Chinese Client and workers.
