The Faculty of Law of the National University of Singapore (NUS Law) is one of the premier places for legal research in Asia. It has an active research culture with seven research centres, an intense and diverse array of research events and seminars, and large numbers of eminent researchers visiting it from around the world. In 2023, the Law School was ranked 9th globally by the Times Higher Education and 12th in the world by the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).

We invite applications for Post-Doctoral Fellowship positions commencing in AY2024-2025. These Post-Doctoral Fellowship positions may be held generally within NUS Law or, for candidates with appropriate backgrounds and expertise, within one of the Centres at the Law Faculty.

The SRF’s principal role will be to work on enhancing tools of the Enzyme Function Initiative at National University of Singapore (EFI@NUS), as part of the SynBio-AI Innovation Accelerator of the National Centre for Engineering Biology. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing our understanding of complex biological systems through the application of advanced bioinformatics techniques. The ideal candidate will have expertise in quantitative trait loci (QTL) mapping, genome-wide association studies (GWAS), transcriptome-wide association studies (TWAS), and imputation analysis. The role also requires the candidate to work closely with other stakeholders such as but not limited to: NUS SynCTI, NSCC, University of Illinois, AI.SG, NCEB.

The Senior Research Fellow is expected to involve, but not limited to, the following:

Your Role

Quality Assurance Specialist is to promote and integrate quality into every aspect of our BioReliance® biologics safety testing business in Singapore. The role is to perform batch record review (i.e. data audits) to support all aspects of quality operations to ensure that laboratory testing operates in full compliance with sound scientific practice, GxP and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The scope of responsibility is to contribute or impact the results of the QA team and is accountable for the quality of own work, solve problems of low complexity independently by identifying and selection solutions and by analyzing information.

What You Do

• Batch record review: Review and approval of GxP documents, including Protocols, Technical Specification (TS), Batch Records, Workbooks, SOPs and all other QMS documentation.
• Batch record review: Comply with all applicable policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Batch record review: Conduct in-process or final audits and approval on manufacturing or testing documentation as they comply with the stated regulatory standards and the approved TS, protocol or SOPs.
