• Building, installing and designing projects of doors.
• Meeting with clients and suppliers
• Calculating costs and quotes for customers
• Reviewing plans
• Measuring and cutting timber to door size
• Making fixtures and fittings, or assembling prefabricated elements
• Deciding the layout, installation, repair, and fixation, and maintaining of structures, building, and fixtures
• Measuring, designing, and cutting material as per the client’s requirements
• Selecting and sourcing appropriate materials depending on project needs
• Creating design plans for remodeling projects
• Cutting, shaping, and joining wood and other materials to create structure
• Working with a variety of tools, including hand tools, power tools, and machinery to create and install wooden structures.
• Reading and interpreting plans and instructions
• Designs and creates the window frames, doors and stairs
• loading and unloading of raw material.
• Loading and unloading of finished products.
• Installation of doors at customers site.
• Must be physcially fit to carry doors 15-20kg.
• Able to work on alternate sundays.
• Able to work under pressure.

Qualifications & experience

• Minimum Secondary education
• Positive energy and mindset, happy, responsible and trustworthy team player.
• Basic knowledge of bread making; Basic knowledge of Viennoiserie is a plus point.
• Able to work early morning shift from 6am; Able to lift/carry items of up to 25kg.
• Keen to learn and show great passion in bakery
• Experience in using kitchen equipment; Understanding of health and safety, and basic food hygiene practices
• Possess food hygiene and safety certification

Tasks & responsibilities

• Report to Head Chef/Sous Chef for daily task.
• Able to do mixing in either small or big batches.
• Able to operate with dough sheeter machine, proofer and different types of ovens for baking.
• Basic knowledge of bread making; Basic knowledge of Viennoiserie is a plus point.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment;
• Able to handle the bakery station alone for the day.
• Work closely with FOH team to ensure quality of products deliver to guests is still in nice and good conditions; Able to work well with other kitchen departments.
• Work closely together with other baker to create new varieties/selections of bread items
• Ensure proper display of bread items.
• Maintain proper ordering procedures of ingredients such as flours, improvers, yeast etc…
