Get to know the role

You will support the Merchant Acquisition Team by tracking market trends and delivering applicable business insights, analysing sales pipeline and conversion data, and optimising processes to increase sales efficiency and growth across several Grab verticals - GrabFood, Dine-Out, GrabMart, and GrabPay.

You will report to the Head, Sales and Grab Merchant Centre in Singapore.

This role will be onsite at Grab office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will lead market research and identify merchant acquisition opportunities across GrabFood, Dine-Out, GrabMart, and GrabPay.
• You will develop and implement sales processes to enhance efficiency throughout the sales cycle, from lead generation to merchant onboarding.
• You will build comprehensive dashboards by using data from multiple sources to analyze sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

• Strategise and ideate content led solutions proactively and in response to brief with the wider team. Work with teams to define best-in-class work quality and empower them to deliver in a way that exceeds our client’s expectations and monitor the overall perception of quality and reporting.

• Knowledge of all aspects of our solutions across Insights, Strategy & Consulting, Content Creative & Production, Content Partnerships and Publishing & Distribution and how they apply across all aspects of the consumer journey.

• Comply with hygiene and sanitation regulations and safety standards at all times.
• To ensure proper handling of all kitchen equipment at all times.
• Answer, report and follow the instructions of the Head Chef and/or Chef in-charge at all times.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers.
• To report any necessary equipment repair and maintenance, workplace incidence or failure to meet performance standards by any of the kitchen staff to higher authority.

Responsibilities:

• Ÿ Involved in the research and development for various cutting-edge machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, computer graphic and natural language processing algorithms.
• Ÿ Able to identify and source relevant conference papers, analyze and extracting valuable insights and understanding the implications of the research
• Ÿ Collaborate with engineer team and advance AI algorithms performance in various applications.

Requirements:

• Ÿ PhD/MS degree in the area of Machine Learning, Deep learning, Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Natural Language Processing or similar area.
• Ÿ Solid foundations of maths and algorithms: probability statistic, linear algebra, geometry, optimization method, image processing, 3D modeling, .etc.
• Ÿ 3-5 years’ experience in machine learning algorithm design and implementation and excellent skills in at least one of machine learning/deep learning tools such as Tensorflow, Pytorch, MxNet, .etc.
• Ÿ Publications in top-tier ML conferences or journals is preferred
