2. Accounting

· Manage multiple accounting assignments for clients’ companies.

· Handle full sets of accounts, prepare management accounts (including P&L, BS, General Ledger, Trial Balance etc.).

· Asist with the preparation of XBRL.

· Prepare unaudited financial reports. Ensure the financial reports are in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, Company Act and corporate accounting policies.

· Assist with the preparation of Tax Computation, filing of Corporate Tax Return, GST Return, Withholding Tax, Personal Income Tax etc.

· Liaise with IRAS, auditors, corporate secretary, government authorities and other stakeholders when necessary.

· Maintaining communication with clients, team members and managers, sharing responsibility and providing support.

· Completes tasks efficiently, meeting all deadlines and with minimal supervision.

· Assists in ad-hoc projects or duties when necessary.

Job Requirements:

· A recognised degree in Accountancy and professional accounting qualifications such as CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent

· At least 5 years’ experience in accounting firm or equivalent

· A strong understanding of technical skills, specifically in SFRS/IFRS and SSA/ISA.

The client of ours is one of the Largest Carrier Globally and is currently looking for an Experienced Deputy General Manager/General Manager with strong technical knowledge on Duel Fuel Vessels and people management experience to be based here in Singapore. Seafaring experience is must.

Responsibilities:-

• Oversee the vessel management of the company’s fleet to ensure optimal performance, compliance with international maritime regulations, and support of business needs.
• Manage preventive maintenance, dry docks, new builds, vessel procurement, manpower planning, and fleet development.
• Lead and develop the fleet team of managers and DGMs, ensuring high maintenance standards for optimal performance and seaworthiness.
• Formulate and execute strategies for fleet digital transformation and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Oversee the review, selection, and delivery of new builds based on technical specifications, regulations, and company policies.
• Manage budgets effectively, ensure ship crews are equipped with up-to-date knowledge for vessel inspections, and attend to assigned projects.
• Attend vessels in port and anchorage, liaising with the Master/Chief Engineer on maintenance issues and survey plans, and reviewing requisitions for spare parts.
