As a Senior Landscape Designer, you will be responsible for:

(a) working with all staff, but particularly the Associates, Seniors and Landscape Architects on a number of projects and professional office tasks

(b) responsible to the Directors, Associates, Seniors on all project work (to which you are assigned), administration work and the particular design, documentation and professional duties to which you will be required to contribute

(c) assisting in design, documentation and contract administration tasks and duties on individual projects as executed by the project teams.

(d) assisting on a number of projects, for which you will prepare and be involved in design, documentation and contract administration work on your own or with the project team.

(e) programming your own tasks and undertaking work for and alongside CAD and Senior Technical staff on particular projects as part of project teams.

(j) assisting on contract administration tasks and duties, including site inspections (review construction works for both soft and hard landscape), meetings, record keeping and correspondence.

(k) working closely with Clients and Project Managers in providing a professional service of the highest international standards, attending meetings where required, on your own or assisting other team members.

(l) working on overseas project opportunities including potentially China, the Middle East and the rest of South East Asia, to the highest international standards, with all care and attention to the particular requirements of the overseas country.

(m) planning your work in a practical, transparent and efficient way in order to meet agreed deliverables and deadlines.

(n) managing office tasks including; assisting in the management of the office libraries/databases, filing, product/material research and maintaining the office environment in a clean and tidy manner.

(o) researching and recording information, images and/or photos of successful landscape (hardscape and softworks) designs/details and images for information, use and storage within the office databases and libraries.

Job Description (but not limited to)：

• Perform activities mainly relevant to plan review of newbuilding and existing ships & offshore mechanical and piping systems, equipment, facilities, etc. in accordance with IMO, IACS and Classification regulation and rules, and provide technical reports or plan review comments if any
• Perform design verification calculations for ship and offshore machinery equipment and systems using relevant software as required
• Provide technical support and training services to external customers and site Surveyors
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide solutions in a timely manner
• Participate in internal and external machinery piping technical seminars and make relevant technical reports
• Some travel may be expected depending on job requirements

Job Requirements：

• Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in mechanical engineering or other related disciplines
• Registered ship inspector certificate of the People's Republic of China required
• At least 5 years' experience in the design or review of ship mechanical and piping systems, or technical work experience in a related technical field
• Familiar with the theoretical knowledge of mechanical, as well as the requirements of Classification Rules, Flag Authorities Regulations and International Conventions
• Proficiency in oral and written Chinese/English for technical communication
• Experience in mechanical and piping review of other classification societies would be preferred

About the role

The role will manage legal and management consolidations for the Industrial and TPC Sub-groups, provide support to users for Oracle FCCS as well as Business Partnering with Finance Business Partner.

The right person will handle both management and legal consolidation and reporting for the Industrial and TPC Sub-groups and support internal and external reporting requirements including ad-hoc reports for management.

The other responsibilities include handling year-end group audit including preparation of group audited financial statements and disclosure notes, sub-group consolidation and year-end sub-group audit, including preparation of audited financial statements and disclosures notes.

This role requires teamwork across borders, coordinating and working with both local and overseas finance teams to improve reporting process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting. He or she will assist in the continual improvement process of Group reporting in Oracle FCCS. Jedox reporting writing skill will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

· Ensure timely reporting to BUs and management.

· To ensure consistency and improvement in work process, accounting treatment and reporting.

2) Legal consolidation to deliver the AFS

· Liaise with auditors for various audit issues

· Prepare Group Audited Financial Statements and finalisation within reporting timelines.

3) Oracle FCCS support and report writing in FCCS and Jedox

· Set up reports for management and legal reporting in FCCS and Jedox

· Support BUs in Oracle FCCS usage and troubleshooting.

· Take on ad hoc and special projects as assigned from time to time by Supervisors

Background and Qualifications:

· Strong consolidation, financial and accounting knowledge, preferably previous experience in complex structures.

· Understanding of accounting processes and management required

· Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards including IFRS, SSAs, etc.

· Hands-on working knowledge of Oracle FCCS system

· Strong Excel skills.

· Effective communication skills in English (written and spoken)

· Equivalent qualification in Accountancy

· Minimum 3 years experience in Group Reporting or Audit
