Job Description

Objectives:

The Sales Coordinator will be part of a business that is a market leader in the bearings industry. Reporting to the International Sales Department, you will be responsible for e-invoicing and all other activities to support sales generation within the respective Sales Business Unit.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support the sales function by managing a portfolio of existing and potential customers, processing and completing orders and delivery arrangements; and/or service recovery matters when necessary.
• Monitor and organize inventory while effectively tracking new services and products for sale.
• Contribute to overall customer satisfaction by promptly answering emails and handling orders by phone.
• Establish active communication and engagement with sales representatives to ensure that orders are processed promptly.
• Collaborate with senior sales staff in weekly meetings by creating and maintaining month-end sales reports.
• Monitor, and upload tax invoices/credit/delivery notes and track the completeness of the tax invoices via the ERP system to the respective customers’ e-invoicing portals.
• Perform customer verification and set up new accounts.
• Administrative tasks on an ad hoc basis.

Job Purpose

This position reports to the Operations Director (OD). Candidate must have the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management. Primarily job responsibility is to ensure works are carried out safely in compliance to Workplace Safety and Health Act which includes providing training and conducting of needful inspection.

Key Responsibilities

Technical:

• Maintain safety & health in accordance with WSH Act and its legislative requirements.
• Responsible for implementation and administration of site Safety Management Plan, Hazard Identification, Control measures, includes conducting Safety inspection, committee meetings, safety update and reviewing of changes.
• Provide technical and professional safety assistance to the team.
• Identify, Conduct Safety training and implement safety programme.
• Conduct daily EHS toolbox meeting, prepare, and maintain records.
• Conduct inspections and provide continuous improvement plan to correct any unsafe condition or practice.
• To conduct accident / incident investigations and preparation of investigation reports, including the effective closures of all corrective / preventive actions
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Administration:

• Responsible for administration and maintaining all WSH and relevant safety & health records accordingly to the company’s need and requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Handle project coordination and responsible for all works in designated projects.
• Responsible in overseeing the overall site progress to ensure the structural, architectural and MEP works of the project team and sub-contractors are in compliance to the defined standards and Safety regulations.
• Plan and advise the construction foreman on sequencing and arrangement of work.
• Provide regular reports to the Management on the progress of overall works in assigned projects.
• Attend technical meeting/site meetings with consultants, and provide technical solutions.
• Ensure the site works are carried out according to specifications / drawings.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Architectural and/ or relevant fields.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in Construction Sector.
• Well-versed in the operations, coordination and details for architectural, structural and M&E field works.
• Strong leadership to monitor Coordinators and Foremen for the works executed.
