Regional BD Manager, SEA (Maritime Products)
The Role:
Develop, maintain, and drive sales & strategy as part of the APAC sales Team. Foster long-term relationships with key customers generate new leads while adhering to revenue forecasts. Keep High level customer relationships with Superintendents / Fleet Managers in the region
Job Duties:
- Develop a healthy sales pipeline by identifying, targeting, and forming new as well as maintaining relationships in your assigned geography market
- Generate new accounts/segments as directed,
- Assist Sales Director APAC sales team in various tasks related to management reporting, strategic initiatives, and business process optimization
- Manage existing accounts including turnover, sales development, and growth
- Plan and execute the business’ go-to-market strategy & Growth plan
- Present product and solutions to customers and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner,
- Collaborate with regional distributors on identifying and targeting customers that can best benefit from our Ship-To-Shore data collection solution
- Continue to grow our VDR, Connect Equipment market share in the industry
- Work closely with our clients, distributors, and support team to align offerings
- Engages in all activities related to business development within assigned markets
- Providing accurate and current view of account penetration, sales performances, customers satisfaction as well as the performances of our distributors
- Educate and promote our Ship-To-Shore data collection solution to the ship owners and managers within your assigned geography market
- Keep abreast of and disseminate new product and industry knowledge to internal team members as well as our global distributors
- Attend trade shows and other company customer focused events
The Desired Skills:
- Possesses a Bachelor’s Degree with min 8 years of sales and business development experiences, preferably in Maritime Industry
- Experienced in Maritime Products and Solutions / Services
- Proven sales track record
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in MS Office Application and CRM
- Ability to work effectively with technical, marketing, management team across the business
