Position Overview

The retail manager is responsible for assisting customers in finding the products they need and encouraging them to make purchases.

Key Responsibilities

- Answer customer inquiries about the store and its products.

- Calculate prices, process purchases, and handle cash or credit card transactions.

- Greet customers and identify their needs or preferences.

- Stay updated on current sales, promotions, payment and exchange policies, and security practices.

- Operate the cashier system and maintain sales records.

- Recommend and assist in locating merchandise based on customer preferences.

- Explore new markets and attract new customers.

- Assist with daily store maintenance.

Competencies and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in organisation psychology, human resources, organisational development or related field

Strong programme management and project execution skills, including work planning, reporting, risk and issue resolution, budget management, etc.

Strong communication skills, including written and verbal Mandarin and English

Strong client service orientation – i.e. attention to detail, able to anticipate client needs, strive for excellence in quality of deliverables

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the operations division and supervising Singapore personnel to achieve the operations key performance index and the required service standards. • Monitor and analyse the Income & Expenses of the service operations, establish business controls and provide solutions to reduce cost and increase revenue. • Manage the customer services and relationship through providing regular feedback and periodic operations review with clients to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction. • Communicate with Engineers • Defines roles and responsibilities, plans for the department’s future needs and operations; counsels and discuss with managers on performance • Coordinating with Site Managers on manpower planning and arrangements • Challenge for more business opportunities and expand service contracts in various fields to increase revenue. • Promoting company services and sales of machines parts • Ensuring safe and secure work environment for all employees • Ensuring compliance in all procedures including documentation • Attending and preparing documents for audit by customers • Any other duties assigned by the Director

Responsibilities:

• Dim Sum Restaurant.
• Oversee the day-to-day leadership and management of an outlet on all aspects of operations.
• Provide a high quality of service and deliver excellent dining experience to all customers.
• Familiar with whole floor operation and able to carry out the multiple roles of every floor position (Example: host, server, cashier and others).
• Responsible for outlet sales target and KPIs include overall cost (Example: food cost and labour cost).
• Enhance leadership and performance excellence of the team members by training, motivating, assessing; and being a role model for all team members to provide customers with high quality of service.
• Respond to customers or team members' comments and feedback professionally
• Responsible and ensure outlet safety, cleanliness, hygiene are kept in high standards.
• Responsible for outlet workforce arrangement, manage outlet recruitment and training; scheduling and reporting shortage or excess of workforce to HR Manager regularly.
• Good knowledge about all menu, and the ability to explain clearly to team members during training.
• Proactively taking on additional responsibilities where required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of working experience in related field.
• Candidates at entry level who specialize in Food/ Beverage/ Restaurant Service or equivalent are preferred.
• Possess passion for hospitality. Strong enthusiasm and boundless energy with an ability to influence people in a positive manner.

Oversee the launch of new products, ensuring they meet market demands and company standards. Continuously monitor product performance and provide recommendations for improvement or innovation.

Requirements

- Diploma/Degree in Engineering relating to Mechatronics & Electrical.

- Possess a valid Class 3 licence. (having own vehicle will be an advantage)

- 1 to 2 year of Sales experience in related field preferred.

- Ability to work Independently as well as in a Team.
