Job Description & Requirements

• Governance the tender process from pre-bid preparation, tender handling, post-tender analysis
• Managed the assigned tenders by working directly with key stakeholders including but not limited to commercial owners, station pricing team and network partners and P&L owners
• Responsible for bid/RFQ qualification review with commercial owner to identify the business potential of each bid
• Perform conversion between client’s bid template into internal pricing sheet
• Collect rates and service information from the station/country pricing team and network partners
• Perform sanity check on the quality of submission from station pricing team/network partner in terms of rate competitiveness, service level, rate response to client’s feedback
• Submit tender/RFQ via client-appointed platforms/formats in a timely manner
• Communicate tender results and perform analysis to all relevant stakeholder whenever is needed

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Shipping or Logistics Management, or equivalent disciplines is highly preferred
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in country pricing or regional tender team in a sizeable international freight forwarder, experience in airfreight / ocean freight operation, customer service, sales support would be highly preferrable
• Advanced excel skills with strong analytical mindset
• Good command of English in both written and oral
• Detail-oriented with strong business acumen would be an advantage

Job Description:

• Lead the Finance Team
• Prepare financial management reports, Management Accounts every month for review for both Singapore and Malaysia companies
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and external parties to ensure relevant statutory compliance
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, Companies Act, tax regulations and other regulatory requirements
• Experienced and good in handling withholding tax and GST.
• Assist in stock reconciliation, consignment billing
• Manage and process office payroll as well as to ensure that monthly payroll processes run smoothly.
• Follow up with new application and renewal of insurance policies.
• Assist and review transfer pricing report
• Perform cash collection and petty cash disbursement
• Handle HR administration tasks (i.e application of work permit, survey, recruitment)
• Assist in any adhoc function and related duties as and when assigned by management

Requirements:

• Minimum degree in Accounting or Finance with 4 years of relevant experience, at last 2 years in supervisory role.
• Audit experience would be an advantage
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with good command in English, Bahasa Malay and Mandarin
• Possess good leadership and interpersonal qualities, highly motivated with a strong sense of integrity
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software applications
• Experience with SAP Business One and ERPnext will be preferred

• Create a safe working environment for employees by putting in place safety measures to prevent accident and complications that may arise during work. Also provide safety gear to employees for protection in the event of accidents
• Supervise activities of workers to ensure that they are hands-on in order to promote hard-work, which is needed for successful deliveries and completion of production tasks to meet clients’ demands and deadlines
• Inspect goods to be delivered to ensure that they are in the right quantity and quality. Supervise the loading of such goods into vehicles for delivery
• Liaise with transportation companies to create a good working relationship to be able to strike good negotiations for transportation of goods, and to prevent hiccups that may arise
• Give vivid directions and guidelines to shipping agents about nature of goods and delivery locations, and maintain communication with them to ensure that goods are not damaged on transit
• Prepare invoice for orders and deliveries as part of record keeping measures and evidence of transaction
• Help in recruiting competent and hardworking workers to carryout daily operations at the organization and put them through in discharging their duties
• Ensure that workers adhere to industry standards in dealing with clients, to promote rule of law and avoid practices such as smuggling and overloading to avoid accidents which could lead to loss of lives and properties
• Assign different responsibilities to workers to fasten the job and promote specialization and accountability. This way, non hardworking workers can easily be identified
• Keep records of all shipping activities, documenting procedures, guidelines, and changes in procedures for reference purposes

7) Research and analyze member or community needs in order to determine program directions and goals.

8) Analyze proposed legislation, regulations, or rule changes in order to determine how agency services could be impacted.

9) Act as consultants to agency staff and other community programs regarding the interpretation of program-related federal, state, and county regulations and policies.

10) Implement and evaluate staff training programs.

• Devise new approaches to improve efficiencies and cost-effectiveness while meeting quality objectives

• Regularly communicate with operating teams and management to present ideas, new processes and analytic-based findings
• Provide assistance in setting staffing levels consistent with budget constraints and departmental needs
• Direct, manage, train and mentor operations department team members
• Work closely with key company teams and functional areas
• Assist in managing staff levels, supply requirements and equipment needs
• Develop and build relationships across organization to gain consensus and intra-organizational communication

Responsibilities

· Lead project team and facilitate their ability to complete the project on time

· Manage and oversee the day-to-day management of projects and on-site works

· Responsible for ensuring smooth implementation and monitoring of work progress.

· Supervise workers and sub-contractors to ensure works are carried out as per schedule and in good quality

· In charge of the planning, assessment and implementation of the whole project safety system and ISO system

· Communicate and coordinate with clients and consultants, clarify requirement, plan, monitor and control the project, including carrying out implementation of the project.

· Preparation of site progress report and necessary documentation and attend daily site meetings

· Identify and resolve site issues effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

· Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent

· Min 5 years relevant experience with at least 3 years project management experience at local projects

· Strong technical abilities and interpersonal skills

· Highly motivated and possess strong leadership qualities and the ability to work independently in a challenging environment.

· Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
