As the Senior Portfolio Manager, reporting to the Head of Portfolio – Robot (based in Singapore), you will be accountable for the Robot category cycle plan from early phase concept start to post SOP – the full lifespan of each product. Working with counterparts from across the Home Business Unit and wider Dyson, you will ensure that we have a compelling Robot offering that delivers against consumer needs, with a cadence and pace to have impact in our various markets around the world.

About the role

• In partnership with the Head of Portfolio – Robot, you will be responsible for the formation and articulation of the Robot strategy.
• Accountable for the Robot portfolio plan – covering the full lifecycle of what sits within the range. Owns the product attribute leadership strategy. Outlines price points, target launch dates, key product features and specification, claims intent, as well as initial proposition messaging.

General Purpose

Key objective of this role is to execute the last mile deliveries. The role will ensure that our last mile service operates effectively to deliver the company’s value proposition at target OTIF levels.

The role is based in the respective regions and reports to the Delivery Operations Manager.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Facilitate the delivery process flow from Customer Service enquiry through to final delivery on-board customer vessel, liaising with Customer Service and delivery logistics service providers (LSPs) as required;
• Monitor stock levels with warehouse operators and LSPs. Work closely with the Distribution Planners and Production Planners to ensure stock inventories are maintained at agreed levels (MSLs);
• Co-ordinate with shipping agents and check with Port Authorities for arrival notice of vessels and arrange timely supply to the vessels. Coordinate vessel and truck movements as needed by communicating with agents and customers;
• Maintain vessel schedules to ensure timely lubricant deliveries via barge and truck;
• Ensure that all orders given to Contracted Barges and other 3rd party delivery agents are acknowledged, and all orders are executed timely;
• Ensure that Delivery Receipts are prepared according to Customer PO before they are issued to Contracted Barges and other 3rd Party Delivery Contractor’s to initiate supply;
• Ensure all orders are delivered to customers’ vessels per our value proposition and industry leading OTIF metrics;
• Ensure that for the physical flow of product is correctly mapped on the ERP and delivery information system;
• Reconcile physical balances at the barges and warehouses where applicable every month;To participate in any ad-hoc projects/tasks as assigned.
• Aware of and participate in maintaining and improving organization quality and environmental management systems and processes and the prescribed compliance obligations.
• Understand organization significant environmental aspects and related actual or potential environmental impacts associated with their works.

Education and Experience

• Degree in Maritime Studies, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business or related discipline;
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in marine supply, logistics and operations scheduling, preferably in a multinational environment;
• Experience in cost analysis and logistics optimization, and familiar in using continuous improvement methodologies.
