Job Title: Junior DevOps Engineer

About the Job

The Junior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for supporting and enhancing our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, as well as managing the Kubernetes clusters.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment processes.

· Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize CI/CD workflows and ensure smooth software releases.

· Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to identify and address performance bottlenecks or issues.

· Work closely with software engineers to integrate automated testing and quality assurance processes into CI/CD pipelines.

· Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.

· Implement best practices for container orchestration, configuration management, and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.

· Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents related to CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes infrastructure.

· Any other ancillary tasks or works as and when requested and assigned by the Company.

Job Requirements:

· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.

· Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

· Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

· Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

· Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

· Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Required to undergo Casino Regulatory Authority (CRA) checks.

Hygiene and Safety Standards

Event Sales & Operation

1. Responsible for event sales and operations.
2. Assist with facilitation of workshops and tours
3. Function as the main point of contact for clients, managing enquiries and positively representing the company to corporate clients over the phone, email and in person.
4. Responding to all client enquiries within a 24-hour period.
5. Generate new leads.
6. Consult with clients to determine objectives, requirements, and budget for events.
7. Prepare and submit formal proposals and event decks tailored to client’s specifications while maximizing returns to the Company.
8. Meet and greet clients, attend site visits, pre-planning meetings and other venue meetings as necessary to support event guest experience.
9. Maintain existing client relationships and generate new relationships.
10. Responsible for ensuring all sales administration is accomplished effectively and accurately
11. Effectively communicate information with internal and external stakeholders on event order, timelines, special requirements, feedback, etc.
12. Conduct after action review to ascertain areas of strengths and weaknesses related to the management of the events.

• Assist the Banquet Operations Manager in supervising and overseeing the administration of the Banquet Events
• Evaluate the operations and procedures and suggest improvements to the Banquet Operations Manager.
• Assign responsibilities to subordinates and offer assistance during busy periods.
• TO handle AV Matters in Banquet and outlets in the hotel
• Hold departmental meetings and conduct daily briefings.
• Adhere to all house rules, regulations and Hotel policies.
• Anticipate the volume of business, taking into consideration the occupancy of the Hotel, the holidays, the weather, the activities in the Hotel, and the community in general.
• Attend F&B meetings.
• Assist the Banquet Operations Manager to analyse revenue and cost reports to be used for the preparation of a realistic annual budget.
• Analyse monthly Profit and Loss statements to ascertain that all costs are in line.
• Assist the Banquet Operations Manager to enforce all pre-check and check control procedures.
• Ensure that no reusable beverage is wasted.
• Monitor the quality and quantity of all food and beverage items served.

Role and responsibilities

As Technical Support Engineer, you will provide technical support to LANDI customers in the APAC region, mainly by answering to JIRA tickets. Depending on the customer type (ISV, distributor, acquirer mainly) and priority, you will:

• Be assigned to JIRA tickets from customers when troubleshooting

• Be able to identify a HW or SW issue and route accordingly

• Be able to perform analysis, reproduce problems and escalate according to LANDI’s processes

• Make sure that the ticket is resolved according to the Service Level Agreement in place between LANDI and its customer

• Populate the internal LANDI’s knowledge base and FAQ so your experience serves all LANDI’s customers worldwide

You are autonomous, accountable, professional and able to do transversal management among various regions. You are curious and like digging into technical issues.

You are experienced in IT and computer science and able to write/debug code on Linux and Android devices.

Ideally you have an experience in payment industry (EMV, Nexo) and security (symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, PKI, encryption, signature).

You have prior experience in Linux and Android development.

You are motivated to join a new team and able to propose improvements and take initiatives in a fresh new international environment.

You may be required to travel in some countries of your region to visit customers.

Experiences & Training

• Engineering school graduate in IT / computer science.
• Strong technical skills in software development and QA with Linux and Android devices.
• Experience in Atlassian products (JIRA/Confluence) and ITSM rules is a plus.
