Job Description:
As the Assistant Manager of our Spanish tapas bar and grill, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the establishment. With a passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence, you will help lead a dynamic team in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Ā· Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
Ā· Oversee daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring that the restaurant is set up for success and meets cleanliness and safety standards.
Ā· Act as a point of contact for staff and guests, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Ā· Provide warm and welcoming hospitality to guests, ensuring their needs are met and their dining experience exceeds expectations.
Ā· Assist with reservations, seating arrangements, and special requests, demonstrating attentiveness and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
Ā· Handle guest feedback and inquiries with tact and diplomacy, striving to resolve any issues to the guests' satisfaction.
Ā· Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Ā· Assist in implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures to uphold our standards of excellence.
Ā· Passion for food and beverage with a deep appreciation for Spanish cuisine and culture.
Qualifications:
Ā· Previous experience in restaurant management or hospitality, with a focus on guest service and team leadership.
Ā· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and motivate staff.
Ā· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Ā· Knowledge of Spanish cuisine and beverages is desirable but not required.
Ā· Proficiency in computer applications such as POS systems and Microsoft Office suite.
