The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Associate You will play a key role in driving revenue growth through strategic business development initiatives and cultivating strong relationships with existing clients. Responsibilities

Business Development:

Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and relationship building.
Secure meetings with sales qualified leads for the team to meet with
Assist in maintaining pipeline on Hubspot and top of funnel activities
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, understanding their needs and challenges.
Manage client accounts proactively, ensuring satisfaction and renewal of contracts.
Provide ongoing support and consultation to clients throughout the learning journey.

Other Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of marketing and promotional initiatives.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and program development.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in talent development.
Report out and measure sales progress and performance..

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, preferably with a postgraduate qualification in a relevant area.
Minimum 1 year of experience in business development and/or account management, ideally within the corporate training or consulting industry.
Proven track record of success in exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM, Project software.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Mechanical Engineer in the Power Team will undertake gas turbine power plants and renewable energy-related consulting assignments in Asia.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Size, design, and review the mechanical system for power and renewable energy-related projects.
• Prepare design specifications and interface with clients, providing technical advice on all aspects of power plant development, including configuration options, prime equipment selection, BoP systems & components, enabling infrastructure, and considerations for project implementation.
• Support clients technically through project feasibility, project appraisals, procurement evaluations, contractor/vendor design review and engineering, project construction, commissioning, and performance testing.
• Support proposal development, drawing on WSP’s regional and international network of support experts where needed.
• Manage project technical delivery requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master/Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience as a mechanical/process engineer in the power sector, ideally developed within a plant/system design role or professional services/consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of any one or multiple sectors in gas turbine power plant, renewables energy (Solar, wind Waste to Energy, and BESS), the key technologies & components, and project lifecycle considerations.
• Experience working with public and private sector clients in the Asia region.
• Process knowledge is desirable for waste-to-energy.

Description / Responsibilities:

• Manage Purchase Orders: -

Completing and maintaining purchase orders for goods. Must work closely with relevant stakeholders to gather and submit orders or work across the entire organization.

• Associate shipments and ensure arrival of all goods within required timeframe, oversee shipping schedules, and coordinate closely with suppliers and forwarders

• Establish inventory targets, maintain re-order points, and monitor stock levels

• Maintain Purchase Records: -

Maintain detailed records of purchases. Must be able to compile and submit these records to the department manager and accounting department to support financial management and reporting if necessary

• Coordinate with warehouse staff and freight forwarders and administer appropriate movement of all goods and supervise all freight flow and ensure clearance and delivery of all imported goods.

• Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition.

• Observe the movement of imported goods and other goods in the warehouse and prepare relevant reports on a weekly and monthly basis.

• Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts for both local and overseas suppliers.

• Prepare weekly and monthly menu order rate reports.

• Support Menu Development process: -

Assist in developing and refining recipes, conduct recipe and ingredient testing, document and maintain recipe databases and testing records

• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to facilitate menu photoshoot, menu design and menu printing

• Perform other duties as assigned.
