We have an opportunity for a talented Procurement and Logistics Coordinator to join our company and become a member of Department of Operations Planning & SCM in Singapore.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
· Contribute to sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers for renewable hybrid power plants components to meet project/business needs.
· Preparation of purchase orders and liaising with suppliers for order enquiry and delivery schedule monitoring.
· Work closely with the suppliers and the Finance Department on the Account Payable to ensure smooth purchase and delivery.
· Coordinate with freight forwarders for shipment and delivery arrangement and active monitoring of shipment status to ensure timely delivery.
· Maintain and update contractor/supplier/forwarder information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc., and updating of approved vendor list.
Competences & Capabilities
The candidate would possess the following capabilities and qualifications:
· Minimum of NITEC or Diploma in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management;
· Entry-Level or at least 1-2 years of experience in the related field will be an advantage;
· A disciplined sense of accuracy;
· Ability to multi-task and deal with tight timelines and deadlines (“No Time To Die”);
· Understands the value of self-learning and teamwork in delivering results in a fast paced & dynamic environment;
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. Excel, MS Word, Powerpoint);
· Organizational, verbal and written communications skills is a must.
Location
The position is located at the WEnergy Global Headquarters in Singapore (depending on the selected candidate’s preference, it is also possible to be stationed in the Philippines or Indonesia). Travelling within ASEAN countries, including remote sites, will be required from time to time. We promote covid19 vaccinations and prefer candidates who are fully vaccinated as per regulations of the Government of Singapore.
