• Participate in studies and reviews where required as discipline lead or as mechanical package engineer e.g., HAZOP, Model Reviews.
• Encourage to and seek improvements to the project costs and schedule at all times
• Support the project organization in meeting project objectives (quality / costs / schedule / safety) along with other team members
• Travel overseas on short notice / perform overtime work as needed

Work experience requirements:

• About 11 years or more experience in Skid Packages in the oil, gas, or petrochemical (OGP) industry, preferably with bulk of that experience in the Offshore OGP sector.
• Has experience with typical offshore mechanical/multi-disciplinary packages in the following categories (with nominal examples):

A. Stand Alone - pumps, scrubbers, separators, heat exchangers, etc.

B. Standard Utility Packages – air compressors, R.O. water makers, etc.

C. Custom Process Packages - flare tips, chemical injection, etc.

D. Moderately Complex packages – TEG package, pedestal crane, etc.

• The Job Holder’s experience shall enable him to handle packages in Category C, and some Category D packages as well. Job Holder shall have good all-round understanding of equipment types, system/process engineering and area/layout engineering.
• Understands technical requirements of other disciplines/departments, and able to challenge or modify other discipline technical expectations.
• Experience in one or more of the following would be an advantage:

Job Description

The research scope for this position is in perception and navigation development for an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle operating in offshore environment. We will be developing advanced techniques for structural tracking and methods for perception generalisation across multiple types of offshore infrastructure. Perception and navigation strategies around complex jackets will be devised with a high level of scale as the focus for the techniques utilised. The techniques will start first with a mapping step (not necessarily used for localisation) followed by perception and navigation step. The development will be first deployed in the digital twin model of the Technology Centre for Offshore Marine Singapore (TCOMS) ocean basin before being tested in the open waters of Singapore.

• Research and implement perception and fusion algorithms utilising sensors such as camera, stereo camera and sonar.
• Explore cost map and mapping techniques to achieve a certain level of mapping of the environment in 3D space. Be able to extend this is to enable global localisation against this pre-existing a-prior map that is built from previous mapping run.
• Research and explore possible localisation algorithms fusing multiple navigation and sensor sources with SLAM for handling of edge cases in vehicle navigation.
• Implement optimal path planning strategies to achieve efficient inspection coverage according to CSWIP 3.3U/3.4U Underwater Inspection standards.

We are seeking a Development Engineer to join the Development team in our mask blank factory. Our team focuses on pilot line launching for new products and technology. As a Development Engineer, you will participate in the development of deposition processes that focus on product transfer, yield, quality, and throughput improvements.
