This is a full time role for a Sea Freight Executive located in Airport Cargo Road. Our clients are in the Freight Forwarding Industry. You will be responsible for coordinating sea import shipments, managing import/export files, updating shipment statuses, and handling customer notifications. Responsibilities include processing invoices, checking shipment documents, and arranging transportation. You will communicate with clients, agents, and overseas offices, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with company policies. Key tasks also include customs permit declarations and maintaining strong client relationships. Additionally, you will recommend process improvements and handle any ad-hoc duties.

Job summary

1) In charge of planning production and quarterly machine maintenance schedule.

2) Work with production supervisor to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of production floor.

3) Liaise with sales to check and update production schedule and advise ETA of finished products.

4) Based on the production plan, assign production operator to relevant machine and its target quantity.

5) Prepare work order to warehouse assistant and mixer to prepare the raw material according to the plan.

6) Update completed work order quantity into the system when applicable.

7) Generate reports for management review (productivity report, wastage report etc).

8) Ensure sufficient stock for finished product and no out of stock issue.

9) Liaise with raw materials vendor to achieve JIT production.

10) Manage raw material inventory.

11) Liaise with Freshening overseas counterpart for ordering of finished products.

12) Liaise with production supervisor and technician to ensure machine spare parts are available.

13) In charge of ordering machine parts from supplier.

14) Supervise and manage production team (training, leave approval, personal issues).

15) Assist in ISO audits and preparation.

Competency requirements

1) Minimum Diploma level.

2) Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central proficiency will be an added advantage.

3) Communication skills.

4) Fluent in mandarin to communicate with operators.
