Production Planner/ Scheduler

• Basic up to $4300 + AWS & VB

Job Scope

• Upon order-entry, utilize SyteLine (ERP) to identify order constraints; expedite constraints and provide updates

• Work with Production and Purchasing to systematically prioritize and execute production requirements; Releases production orders to satisfy customer requirements and optimize efficiency.

• Communicate daily order status, priorities, and schedule changes to internal stakeholders

• Utilize SyteLine (ERP) for data mining and analysis, determining root cause, reasons late of customer order shipments and past due job operations

• Understand the manufacturing process thoroughly, and have reasonable expectations as to what can be accomplished in a certain timeframe

• Evaluate production load against available capacity to make changes in scheduling as needed

• Establishes inventory requirements by studying manufacturing history and production forecasts; understand subcomponents and establishes safety stock levels as appropriate.

• Follow-up on acknowledgements and open purchase order reports to eliminate bottlenecks

Additional Duties

• Manage Items and job orders being outsourced to contract manufacturers and

clearly communicate status of these orders to managers and partners external to

Starline

• Assist with problem solving of inventory accuracy, expedites, and part shortages

Planner/Scheduler

• Support the planning team by completing miscellaneous tasks and projects as

needed

• Other duties as assigned by management

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements and arranging interviews
• Maintain and ensure proper documentation of employee database and personnel files
• Perform general HR administrative functions, such as processing work passes and preparing appointment/confirmation letters

Regular meetings with Mainland Chinese team are expected. Fluency in spoken Mandarin is a must.

Job Description:

• Manage all purchasing information; invoices, purchase order and matching of our PO and supplier’s invoices ensuring accurate charges and timely submittal of documentation and purchase reports to finance
• Purchase and maintain supplies meet quality standards (Halal Certified products only) and ensure that the department is adequately stocked to avoid affection to the operations, to ensure timely delivery as well.
• Negotiable and maintain good relationships with all suppliers to obtain best pricing
• Coordinate with chefs and supervisors regards to the items to be purchase
• Coordinate purchasing activities and services based on company’s needs.
• Monitor process and supplier performance and resolve issues with suppliers.
• Manage daily purchase for central kitchen and office supplies
• Source, negotiate and coordinate for appropriate products and services with the best possible pricing and payment terms by manner of quotations from suppliers
• Ensure discrepancies in purchases, purchase orders and invoices are reconciled within the month
• Reconcile and analyse all orders and ensure optimal inventory and operational requirements
• Review monthly orders and consumption
• Qualify incoming goods upon receiving regularly
• Prepare and follow up purchase orders and expedite delivery
• Assist HR & Admin Manager and responsible for handling of partial HR & Admin functions.
• Assist operation and supervisors on work schedule updates.
• Handle vehicle maintenance, servicing, season parking, car park registration with the building management.
• Arrange vendors to repair on the machineries & equipment.
• In-charge of staff accommodation and worker’s dormitory arrangement.
• Other ad-hoc HR & Admin duties delegated from management and superior.

Job Requirements:

• Candidates should possess at least 3 years of purchase experiences in F&B industry.
• Experience in Autocount will be an advantage.
• Able to work independently in fast pace environment under minimal supervision.

Production Supervisor will be under Marine service line, the appropriate quality check, the compilation of accurate and customized results reports and other deliverables.

1. Working in workshop and vessels.

2. Good communication skills with Ship Owners and Superintends.

3. Good time Management and work Independently.

4. To perform any other duties & Responsibilities assigned by superiors from time to time.

5. Ability to demonstrate and implement cost -saving measures.

6. Ability to lead to manage project operations, schedule and specifications.

Requirements:

- Min 5 Years experience as Marine Industry.

- Knowledge of MS office.

- Able to work OT.

- Excellent coordination skills.
