We are looking for a Commercial Director APAC- Marketing Mix , eager to lead, create, collaborate, and inspire. 

As the Marketing Mix Sales Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of NIQ by leading and executing strategic sales goals within the Marketing Mix practice. This position requires a blend of strong sales acumen, APAC marketing expertise, and leadership skills to effectively manage and optimize the Marketing Mix practice for our Manufacturer clients.  

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Marketing Mix solution and competitive environment, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve all objectives. 

 
RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Build and deliver the Sales/Commercial Management Strategy to launch our Marketing Mix practice 
• Achieve revenue goals by recognizing potential opportunities with clients to drive profitable sales.  
• Lead and deliver compelling sales pitches, presentations, and product demonstrations to a broad range of audiences, from C-level executives to individual contributors. Recognize potential opportunities with clients to drive sales 
• Develop customer relationships with Marketers; establish, and implement strategies for launching the Marketing Mix business unit focusing on developing pilots and building the customer base 
• Set appropriate metrics for sales pipeline generation, accurate pipeline reporting and sales forecasts reporting up to sales leader 
• Maintain relationships with key project stakeholders (including product, technology and delivery teams) to ensure project satisfaction. 
• Collaborate with product leadership to incorporate product features and benefits into NIQ Marketing Mix solution 
• Coordinate market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer behaviors that inform GTM strategy 
• Collaborate with ADs to find opportunities for NIQ Marketing Mix implementation 
• Apply a thorough understanding of the marketplace, industry trends, and products to all management activities and strategic sales decisions 
• Leverage and coordinate cross-functional internal teams (Product Leaders, Operations, Finance, Legal, HR) to efficiently navigate complex sales cycles

Industry Engagement and Business Development

• Strategise, develop and implement impactful industry-related initiatives and programmes with diversified stakeholders to achieve corporate outcomes;

• Facilitate the research of and identify leads for industry partnership;

• Establish and maintain positive collaborative relationships and strong network with internal and external stakeholders;

• Manage and cultivate industry partners to create value for the polytechnic.

Donor Development and Stewardship

• Develop and oversee the implementation of fundraising initiatives in support of the polytechnic’s education, annual giving, major gifts, endowment, scholarships and other institutional-related donations programmes;

• Provide stewardship and engagement of current donors to ensure continuity of support and sustainability of donations in support of education for our students;

• Engage and maintain positive relationships with donors, grant making organisations and corporates

• Lead the administration and support the secretariat functions of the polytechnic’s education funds

[What you will be working on]

The Organisation Development and Planning Division (ODP) is responsible for driving long-term organisational effectiveness in MAS. Drawing from various disciplines and fields, ODP comprises dynamic individuals with competencies across culture and leadership development, change management and internal communications, behavioural sciences and corporate planning. You will be part of a team that carries out both organisational development (OD) and corporate planning work.

In this role, you will:

• Have a systems-level perspective of areas in which the organisation needs to transform to be highly effective in today’s context. Actively learn about leading company practices, both private and public sector, and adapt them to suit MAS’ context. Key focus areas will be leadership practices and behaviours, and organisational culture.

• Design and facilitate workshops to engage the leadership community on organisation-wide issues, building awareness about potential organisational changes and seeking leadership alignment. This includes running regular medium to large size workshops for leaders, including customising the design and facilitation execution. It also includes advising other teams on programme design for a more engaging and effective workshop.

• Develop and deliver culture interventions to raise awareness and alignment across the organisation, embed and reinforce behaviours, mindset shifts and new ways of working. It may also involve providing targeted support for high- or at-risk groups, departments and/or teams, to identify detrimental cultural and behavioural patterns, and design and facilitate fit-for-purpose interventions to positively impact effectiveness and health.

• Engage relevant stakeholder groups across the organisation, including senior and middle management, applying the insights to support the interventions for organisational change.

• Partner closely with the lead departments to co-create and plan changes relating to people and processes.

You may also be expected to perform aspects of corporate planning relating to whole-of-government initiatives, corporate governance and organisation excellence within MAS. 

[What we are looking for]

• At least 5 years of work experience in OD, culture and leadership development, change management, or related roles

• Familiarity with a broad range of knowledge, frameworks and tools on Organisation Development and transformation.

• Experience in diagnosing, designing, developing, and delivering effective interventions related to leadership, people practices, and culture at both organisational and project levels.

• Experience in workshop customisation and design, and facilitation. Demonstrate comfort and confidence working with senior leaders and a broad range of stakeholder groups, and able to speak confidently in front of a large audience

• Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive change management plans to ensure strong project support and facilitate staff adaptation, including content and material production

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with effective written, presentation and reasoning skills

• Excellent organisation skills, meticulous and ability to multi-task

• Demonstrates strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills

• Effective project management skills and thrives in a fast-paced and fluid environment

• Able to work well independently as well as in a team environment

• Experience in or working with the public service will be an advantage.

Strategic/Operational Planning

• Formulates and reviews plans for the development of Grassroots Organisations (GROs) in the constituency to achieve a highly liveable neighbourhood and a harmonious community.
• Spearheads the Annual Constituency Workplan processes to align the GROs and community partners in the constituency.
• Anticipates potential local community and integration flashpoints, identifies needs of and outreach to residents in the constituency, and supervises the planning and implementation of community programmes to meet the needs and strengthen interaction/engagement.
• Identifies weaknesses and areas for improvement for the GROs in the constituency and provides guidance to strengthen the effectiveness and capabilities of GROs.

Operation

• Strategise and work closely with the key stakeholders on the direction of the constituency & address critical stakeholder matters  
• Facilitates, motivates and guides Grassroots Leaders (GRLs) to perform their key role as community builder in building better relationships amongst residents and enhancing closer partnerships with corporate and community stakeholders.
• Facilitates and provides thought leadership for monthly Citizens’ Consultative Committee (CCC) and Community Centre/Club Management Committee (CCMC) meetings to meet the national and PA objectives.
• Provides administrative support and guidance to the GROs to facilitate effective implementation of their community outreach and engagement programmes.
• Assists the Group Constituency Director (GCD) in the planning and execution of community projects at Group Representation Constituency (GRC) and District levels.
• Supervises the overall administration of the CO to facilitate the effective and efficient functioning of the CC(s) and RC Centres.
• Oversees proper accounting and cash management of the GROs and their sub-committees to ensure good governance and compliance of PA Financial Rules and Regulations.
• Submit progress reports on the constituency and GROs, provide feedback and recommend changes and improvements to PA Headquarters, thereby facilitating communication and co-ordination between the field and PA.

Engagement

• Constantly monitor and be nimble to socio-political changes and new government policies so as to guide the GROs in their communication and feedback processes with the residents.
• Explains government policies, facilitates discussion and channels feedback to appropriate parties to develop and strengthen the GROs as an effective communication channel between the government and the people.
• Plans and coordinates the implementation of Wellness Programme, Emergency Preparedness, Community Sports, Integration, Family Life, Youth and other community-building programmes to widen outreach and deepen engagement.
• Set up and strengthen partnerships with community stakeholders such as VWOs, Merchant Associations, religious organizations etc.
• Promotes PAssion Card and use of PAssion Card membership information for better outreach and engagement with residents.
• Facilitates the formation and development of Social Interest Groups for wider outreach and more sustainable and quality engagement with residents.

Development

• Plans and co-ordinates the recruitment, training, appointment and renewal of GRLs to ensure a high-level of involvement and minority-group participation.

• Supervises and motivates staff in the CO, to ensure optimum utilisation of human resources and delivery of quality services in achieving constituency and PA’s overall objectives.

Reporting to Chief Learning Officer, this position holder is responsible and accountable for leading the design, development, and research for his/her assigned portfolio of existing and new leadership programmes and solutions at HCLI.

Key accountabilities include:

DESIGN: The purpose of this accountability is to think creatively and generate innovative learning solutions.

• Design learning solutions for customised leadership programmes for corporate clients.
• Design new solutions for open enrolment leadership programmes.
• Design includes – but not limited to - content curation and creation, learning design, and innovating on learning solutions, etc.

DEVELOPMENT: The purpose of this accountability is to develop the innovative learning solutions into implementable programmes that produce the desired learning outcomes in support of client’s strategic objectives and learner’s leadership development objectives.

• Develop custom and open-enrolment leadership solutions by collaborating with subject-matter experts, faculty, and partners, etc.
• Development includes – but not limited to – cost and budget estimation, programme evaluations (e.g. after-action review or ‘AAR’), and managing “product life cycles”, etc.
• Development includes – but not limited to – updating existing leadership solutions, grant applications (e.g. SSG funding), and mapping to competency and skills frameworks, etc.

DELIVERY: The purpose of this accountability is to deliver effective learning and a great learning experience for corporate clients and individual learners, and in so doing, deliver on the value created for the client and learner, and capturing the associated value created for HCLI.

• Research includes – but not limited to – producing articles for publications like HBR and SMR, writing cases, white papers, opinion pieces, etc.

• Experience in conducting learning needs analysis and proven ability in designing customised programmes for senior executives, either independently or in partnership with an internal programme development team, that resulted in a high success rate of conversion
• Highly entrepreneurial and strong business acumen backed by a wide business network in Asia and beyond; experience in consultative selling, key account management
• Deep knowledge of the Leadership Development field and an interest and understanding of the emerging trends
• Experience in managing and representing a premium brand such as HCLI to a variety of clients and stakeholders from multinational to privately owned and government organisations
• Experience working in a multinational/international environment, working across cultures, is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, presentation skills

• Able to adapt easily to new cultural environments, and to communicate with people from a variety of linguistic and educational backgrounds
• Good written and spoken English
• Experience in personality and leadership profiling/ assessment instruments will be an added advantage
• Conversant in a second Asian language is a plus

Education:

• Degree Holder in Organisation Development, Psychology, Training or Business. A Masters or PHD Degree will be advantageous

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Leadership Development/Executive Education/Learning & Development/ Organisational Development, or related Consulting/Professional experience(s).

• Conduct needs assessment survey through outreach and/or engagement
• Organise and conduct active ageing programmes to the elderly in the community
• Befriend service users through engagement activities and home visits
• Implement new programme and/or services for services users based on needs.
• Conduct programme evaluation for all regular programmes and initiate enhancements/improvements
• Coordinate and manage stakeholders’ communications for programmes and services to services users.
• Able to work independently

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field, preferably with experience in working with elderly clients in the community setting.
• Relevant working experiences in healthcare or social service sector.
• Possess ability to meet targets and deadlines with efficient organisation and time management skills.
• Possess adaptability to find ways of solving and/or pre-empting problems
• Applicant must be willing to work 5.5 days/week
