The Role Responsibilities
Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income Portfolios
As a pivotal member of our Investment Team, the Portfolio Manager will be instrumental in supporting the day-to-day management of our Fixed Income strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a robust portfolio management mindset with a focus on bonds from a Private Bank or Asset Manager.
Portfolio Management
· Support the management of fixed income investment strategies, aligned with clients objectives, risk tolerance, and long-term vision.
· Contribute investment ideas, including selection of single line bonds and bond funds for use in portfolios
· Collaborate with our Chief Investment Office and Product Specialists to commercialize investment capabilities into market-leading investment modules
· Ensure meticulous portfolio construction and seamless end-to-end implementation.
· Actively contribute to our bank's Global Investment Committee, shaping the house view and influencing the broader investment strategy.
Sales & Marketing
· Support frontline client presentations and sales support, articulating the strategy and positioning of our portfolios with clarity and conviction.
· Prepare and deliver client pitches and portfolio reviews, adapting to evolving client needs and market trends.
· Craft and manage forward-looking analyses, delivering insightful commentary on portfolio performance and risk factors.
· Develop and refine marketing collaterals that align with internal standards and regulatory compliance.
Product Management
· Support business development activities to enhance our investment platform and capabilities
· Ensure diligent adherence to SCB stated policies, contributing significantly to investment, risk, and governance processes.
· Assist in the preparation of materials for key governance meetings.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
· Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.

This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
· Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

· DPM Portfolio Management team, Chief Investment Office, Fund Selection Team, Managed Investments & Advisory, Sales & Marketing (IAs, MSAs, Team Leads, RMs), Governance/ Compliance functions, COO
Our Ideal Candidate
· 5+ years of experience & proven track record in Fixed Income portfolio management
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA is an advantage
· Solid understanding of financial markets, fixed income research, and investment analysis.
· Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
· Prior client facing experience in a private bank or portfolio management environment would be preferred
· Strong business communication is a must
· Demonstrated commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in investment management.
