REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities

The International Engagement Department (IED) supports IPOS’ vision by establishing relationships with IP stakeholders outside Singapore, including government agencies, institutions, inventors, creators, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and others to position Singapore as a vibrant marketplace for IP transactions and commercialisation.

Reporting to the Desk Head, you will be responsible for the following:

• Identifying opportunities and developing platforms in priority markets to advance Singapore’s interests;
• Building relations with overseas stakeholders to develop a pipeline of activities to promote Singapore’s IP capabilities;
• Developing and maintaining cooperation agreements and/or programmes with international partners;
• Tracking IP developments in assigned countries and regions, carrying out research, drafting country briefs and strategy papers for senior management;
