Job Desciption
· Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
· Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
· Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee central kitchen to outlet efficiency
· Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
· Formulate strategic and operational objectives by examining and analysing of financial data and use them to improve profitability and implement operation strategies.
· Scheduling roster, preparing payroll, approve leaves and offs with priority to the viability of the outlet operations.
· Ensure POS system and food delivery platform menus are up to date.
· Manage budgets and forecasts
· Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
· Recruit, train and supervise staff
· Find ways to increase quality of customer service
· Designing delicious and attractive menus and continuously making improvements.
· Forecasting, planning, sourcing, and ordering food supplies for the kitchen, as well as beverages to stock the bar and fridges.
· Building positive relationships with food and beverage vendors.
· Adhering to the food and beverage budget.
· Managing daily food and beverage operations.
· Following food and safety regulations.
· Maintaining positive customer relationships, processing complaints, and responding to customer needs.
· Analyse service quality and customer satisfaction
· Assisting with marketing events.
· Creating and enforcing restaurant policies, targets, and KPIs.
· Coordinate orders for all crews to ensure a smooth customer experience.
· Monitor and maintain hygiene and cleaning standards.
· Manage crisis situations.
· Contribute to innovation process within own scope of work in the business unit.
· Develop and motivate team members through capability development.
· Lead team to implement change.
· Manage and implement business continuity plans.
· Manage cost and quality controls.
· Manage site/outlet and equipment maintenance.
· Manage and participate in dispute resolution.
· Give staff feedback on their performance to enable staff development.
· To ensure staff is completing task on time and efficiently (i.e little to no OT for all employees)
· Hiring: To assist stakeholders and management to help conduct, identify and source for potential candidates to join the company. This also includes being involved in the decision making of the hiring process of each potential candidate.
Pre-requisites:
- 3-5 years of experience in Bakeries/Hot Kitchen/Fine Dining Establishments.
- 1-2 years in Bakeries/Hot Kitchen/Fine Dining Establishments.
- Minimum Diploma in any discipline
- Able to work in face paced environment
- Beverage Knowledge and relevant skills are a plus.
