Job Description

We are looking for software quality engineers (QE) who are passionate about improving the quality of the services that client provides. The QE will be part of an in-house team tasked with developing and maintaining the client’s need. The QE will:

What to Expect:

● Create and maintain test cases, test plans ensuring that they are up to date with requirements and policy changes

● Create, maintain and improve the automated test framework and test environments

● Conduct testing on new features and file defects

● Perform various tests such as manual/functional/performance/exploratory tests support

● User Acceptance Tests (UATs)

● Assist in resolving production cases

● Participate in all agile ceremonies

How to Succeed:

● Degree in software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering or infocomm-related discipline

● At least 3 years of professional software quality testing experience with hands-on automation

● Strong understanding of testing techniques

● Strong understanding of test-driven development, continuous integration and continuous delivery

● Experience working with Java and Spring Boot frameworks will be an added advantage

● Experience with open source automated testing frameworks (i.e. Selenium, Cucumber,

JUnit) or enterprise level testing tools (e.g. HP Mobile Center, HP UFT, HP QC, sprinter)

● Experience with open source performance testing tools (i.e. JMeter, Gatling, Locust) or enterprise level testing tools (HP LoadRunner)

● Experience with open source penetration testing tools (ZAP, Burp Suite, SQL Map) or enterprise level penetration testing tools (HP WebInspect, Nessus, CheckMarx)

● Working experience in Agile environment will be an added advantage

● Excellent verbal communication and listening skills

Job Role Description

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for leading, implementing, and improving Quality Management Systems (QMS) infrastructure, governance and compliance processes and related frameworks in the organization. He/She carries out audits to assess compliance with regulations, guidelines and operating procedures.

He serves as the organization’s expert on Quality Assurance (QA) matters and provides consultation to stakeholders to interpret quality-related regulations, guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deploy quality assurance policies, processes and procedures.
• Formulate and update organizational quality strategies according to legal and client requirements.
• Integrate quality policies, processes and requirements to structure quality management systems.
• Advise improvements in testing and commissioning procedures and processes.
• Initiate external compliance audits.
• Lead external audits with regulators, classification societies, service providers and customers.
• Formulate internal audit scope and criteria in accordance with internal and external QA and QMS requirements.
• Oversee closure of quality compliance issues.
• Manage people and organizational function.
• Develop strategies for resource planning and utilization.
• Participate in negotiations with relevant key internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor employees’ understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory procedures.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least bachelor’s degree in business management or any related course.
• With strong background in ISO: 9001-2015 QMS.
• At least 4 years of working experience in the related field.

KEY ACTIVITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Administration of credit policies, processes and internal controls to govern the credit control and collection function
• Credit assessment and credit review function
• Payment follow-ups and enforcement of assigned credit limits/policies
• Active collection process involving calling, email, site visits and other appropriate means
• Monitor, ensure accurate and timely payment recovery
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to non-payment of invoices
• Coordinate and build strong relationship between customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues at root cause and enable smooth collection
• Prepare regular and monthly credit related reports
• Organise routine collection meetings with sales team
• Handle Legal proceedings, Small Claim Tribunal and 3rd party collection agencies
• Prepare month-end and year-end closing reports
• Ensure compliance with company financial standards

ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL AND / OR TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATES

• Diploma and above qualification in Accountancy/Finance/Business or equivalent

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in credit control

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Compile quality metric data required for management reporting and prepare sections of quality metric reports.
• SOP writing and issuance for site qualification and validation project as and when needed.
• Identify deviations and potential risks in manufacturing systems, processes and methods, and their possible causes.
• Implement validation processes to review systems, methods and processes utilised in manufacturing facilities.
• Access impact to validation for changes that occur during the project and define appropriate validation requirements and approach to meet these requirements.
• Identify potential compliance risk and gaps and recommend improvements.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Min Degree in related specialisation
• More than 5 years QA experience in a Bio-Lifescience environment

• Assist in TQP Quality Management System to ensure quality control

• Prepare QA/QC Plans, formulate QC checklists, inspection and procedures
• Coordinate with client for material standards and method statement relating matters
