Your Role

We are looking for a Design Quality Assurance Engineer to prepare the compliance of documents an oversee new product development stages and implement standardization of the new product design and development.

What Will You Do

• To prepare the compliance of documents, oversee new product development stages and implement standardization of the new product design and development.
• To take part in important nodes of every stage in the new products or projects, such as design review, design verification and design confirmation.
• To keep track of the progress of designing in the new products or projects, including design, materials, assembly, debugging, and promote closed-loop implementation.
• To assist all projects and promote the standardized transfer to technical data and documentation.
• To provide input and overview to support program implementation from a quality perspective, and attend internal program reviews or status meetings.
• To do inspection on the new products or projects, ensuring the standardization of shipment inspection, inspection plan formulation, and shipment inspection implementation.
• To provide on-site customer service by following up and solving problems of the first machine shipped out.

What Do We Want

• At least a Degree in Quality, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of experience in Quality management or equipment, panel or semiconductor Wafer Industry will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge in basic quality methods and tools, QC Methods, 5WHY, 8D, 4M1E, FMEA and etc.
• Have experience in the basic operation mode and promotion ideas of DQA and APQP related in automotive industry will be added advantage.

• Develop and periodically review and align policies and procedures with the latest developments in PDPA, emerging threats, and technologies

• Prepare annual personal data audit plans and supervise quarterly audits and conduct training and assessment programmes for staff corporate governance
• Maintain company corporate governance framework to ensure compliance to Corporate Governance Framework for HQ Related Organisations (MRO)
• Assist in the continued implementation of the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing policy, through working closely with relevant business units and liaise with HQ and internal stakeholders on projects and initiatives
• Consult with the Legal department as needed to resolve difficult legal compliance issues and implementing and overseeing the effectiveness of privacy controls, privacy enhancing technologies, and privacy risk mitigates
• Act as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance issues/ concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Law, Finance or any related discipline
• At least 5 to 8 years of strong compliance experience in local regulatory compliance and risk management, with demonstrable knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
• Experience in a Data Protection Office, Privacy Risk, Privacy Compliance or Privacy Legal function
• Experience advising on direct marketing and online behavioural and targeted advertising, including governance of these practices
• Experience of drafting responses to complaints from data subjects and handling nuanced data subject right requests.
• Able to work independently, self-motivated, strong analytical skills and ability to exercise sound judgment and manage execution under pressure
• Able to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and be driven and commercially minded
