Role Overview:

The Singapore Country management specialist will play a crucial role in managing both our signature Singapore competitions and the operational support when the students participating in our competitions. This role requires a blend of planning, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to educational enrichment. The ideal candidate will not only deliver exceptional service to parents and students but also provide invaluable support to ensure their success in our competitions.

Key Responsibilities:

Competition Management:

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage all aspects of competitions, from venue management to program scheduling and participant engagement. Plan, design, and produce events while managing all project delivery elements within time limits.
• Liaise with Singapore parents to identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with different teams to ensure smooth operations of competitions.
• Propose ideas to improve services and competitions quality.
• Organize facilities and manage all event’s details such as contest and award ceremony venue, invigilators, decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, etc.
• Cooperate with the different teams to promote and publicize the competitions to the students and schools.
• Conduct pre- and post-competitions evaluations, reporting on outcomes.
• Oversee risk management plans to ensure events comply with legal, health, and safety standards.

Parents and students support:

• Responding to all competitions-related queries received via email, phone, live chat and any other channels.
• Capture and qualify parents' inquiries, make appointments, liaise with different parties to ensure students have a successful experience with the competitions
• Manage direct applications from the office walk-in, online and agent channels.
• Ensure that all Missed Calls are followed up and attended to in a timely manner (within 24 hours)
• Serve as the primary liaison for participants and parents in our competitions, offering support on competition rules, registration processes, and any queries they may have.
• Regularly update and communicate with students and parents on any changes or enhancements to competition guidelines and processes.

Team and Participant Support:

• Lead and mentor a small team in Singapore, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent support to parents and students.
• Address inquiries and concerns from Singapore parents and students, ensuring their experiences with our competitions are positive and enriching.
• Foster relationships with educational institutions and stakeholders in Singapore to promote participation and engagement in our events.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Event Management, Education, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience in event management and/or educational program management, with a proven track record of successful event execution.
• Strong communication and training skills.
• Excellent leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and projects.

HR (Payroll Specialist) Up to $4800 + VB

RESPONSIBILITIES: (Payroll 80% + HR policies 10% + Recruitment/training 10%)

· Manage HR documentation, maintain accurate records, and support various HR functions such as payroll processing and employee data management.

· Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure consistent application and compliance across the organization.

· Prepare and analyse HR metrics and reports to support strategic decision-making and improve HR practices.

· Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and facilitating the onboarding of new hires.
