Job Scope:

• Responsible for managing and leading a given district, achieving sales, profitability and inventory targets while ensuring a unique and brand relevant shopping experience
• Oversee, coach and direct activities of Shop-in-charge person (eg. Store Managers) in the achievement of business objectives and efficient & effective store operations

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

General Duities:

• Ensure consistency and compliance of operating and service standards, policies, and procedures
• Ensure high standards of store operations are met at all times, providing consumers with high-quality shopping and brand experience
• Work closely with Merchandising Team in stock allocation and planning
• Achieve an overall stock turn as per company target
• Ensure product selection for all stores is based on grades/ bands that reflect consumer profiles, competitive landscape, and store formats
• Loss prevention a key operational discipline
• Managing all outlets budgets and ensuring that each store operates within the budget
• Monitoring each store's P&L reports
• Addressing operational problems that arise

Specific Duties:

1. Marketing and Visual Merchandising:

• Ensure Retail Marketing plans are executed seasonally – aligned with brand marketing plans
• Work in accordance with Regional and Local VM standards and execute the look-and-feel of the store as pre-agreed

2. Store Visits:

• Ensure store visits are done consistently and take corrective measures if needed for business growth
• Prepare store visit checklist reports for weekly review with the Retail / Store Operations Manager

3. Expenses Control:

• Prepare and monitor revenue and expenditure in the retail stores/outlets to ensure attainment of profit objectives

4. Leadership - Proposing Decisions and Actions:

• Develop a team of Store Managers / Trainee Managers capable of executing store sales & marketing strategies and meeting financial objectives
• Build succession plan through effective hiring, development, training and staff retention program.
• Support and guide direct reports in solving cross-functions and people-related issues
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned

Job Responsibilities

• Responds to Attractions recovery and repair of Ride & Show mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment in USS (Universal Studios Singapore).

• Troubleshoots failed components using basic test equipment, schematics/prints and specialized tools, equipment and resources.

• Report to Team Lead during reset of Ride & Show system to ensure safe operation.

• Support Attractions Operation team on the safe evacuation of guests from Ride vehicles during downtime.

• Operate company forklift or specialised vehicle such as high-reach boom lifts when required for recovery of Rides and Shows (Training will be provided by company.)

• Operate equipment and tools safely in accordance with general handling practices and Safe Work Procedures.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering or related field of studies

• 3-5 Years experience in troubleshooting and repair of basic to moderately complex systems which include - electrical/PLC controls, electro-mechanical devices, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment will be an advantage.

• Ability to troubleshoot electromechanical problems and use good judgment in high pressure situations.

• Able to work at height.
