Job Description:

· Assist in preparation of full set of accounts; maintains all ledgers, journals and other accounting records of the company with full compliance to the group and Singapore regulatory financial reporting requirements and accounting standards

· Ensure all disbursements for staff claims are processed timely and accurately and are in compliance to company policies and regulations. Work closely with other functions to proactively manage and resolve payment issues

· Assist in preparing audit schedules; controlling compliance procedures, managing annual audit, liaise with external auditors

· Assist in corporate secretarial work

· Assist in HR and admin matters

· Monthly Intercompany billings and reconciliations

· Assist in cash management including funding requirements and managing cash flow

· Reconciles bank statements

· Experience in handle shipping and LC documentation and Knowledge of incoterms

· Prepare and submit monthly GST report, knowledge of VAT/GST and withholding tax is advantageous

· Develops and oversees the production of internal reporting formats/standards

· Assist in year-end audit

Job Requirements:

· Degree in Accounting, has at least 8 years’ accounting experience in trading industry

· A hands-on person with initiative, confident and able to communicate effectively with all levels

· Able to work independently with minimal supervision

· Competent in PC accounting software

The Role

We are looking for an Office Administrator & Assistant to be a supportive force that empowers our Singapore team and management. The ideal person for the job will be a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. He/she will have previous experience working in an office environment, performing administrative duties, and providing support to management.

Responsibilities

Office Administration - The incumbent will provide a full spectrum of administrative operations support to the office, including but not limited to office maintenance and arrangements, supervising the office cleaner, handling mail, coordinating vendors for office facility procurement and maintenance and management of all external vendors.

Assistant - The incumbent should be comfortable providing sophisticated calendar management to the MD, Capital and Elevate teams by scheduling appointments, meetings, engagements and daily activities including running errands. She will also serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external parties on all matters pertaining to the MD, Capital and Elevate teams. She will be responsible for managing and coordinating travel and travel related activities including flights, hotels and transport for the MD and other senior executives. As a content creator at SAL, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation of the Academy’s strategic communications plan. You will be tasked to create compelling content across various mediums to drive engagement with key stakeholders. This role involves writing high-quality articles and creating videos, conducting interviews, and developing visually appealing graphics that complement other content forms.
