OVERVIEW

The News Assistant provides support to the show production teams assisting with cutting video, building graphics, basic segment production and guest booking. This role is ideal for candidates looking for entry into a career in journalism and TV news production with a keen interest in business, economics, and financial markets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write basic scripts for TV news
• Research news stories

Responsibilities:

• Alternative Investments (Private Equity, Real Estate and Hedge Funds). Whilst the role is focused on Alternative Investments, the role does involve being able to have a working knowledge of the entire Managed Investments platform, and Citi’s broad Investments capabilities.
• The successful candidate will work very closely with our Private Bankers and Investment Counselors. The person who fills this roll must have a knowledge of Investments including Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Real Estate. Key Responsibilities:

 Revenue Management:
    •    Assist in the development and implementation of pricing strategies aimed at maximizing hotel room revenue.
    •    Monitor and analyze competitors’ rates, demand trends, and market conditions to provide recommendations for pricing adjustments.
    •    Manage and optimize room inventory across various distribution channels, including OTAs (Online Travel Agencies), GDS (Global Distribution Systems), and the hotel’s direct booking platform.
    •    Support the Revenue Manager in forecasting future revenue and occupancy trends based on historical data and market insights.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
    •    Collect and analyze data from Property Management Systems (PMS), Central Reservation Systems (CRS), and other relevant sources to monitor revenue performance.
