East Coast Podiatry is a specialist outpatient service for conservative treatment of the foot, ankle and associated structures of the lower limb. We are a leading private podiatry practice with an international team of podiatrists in four clinic locations of Singapore.

Orchard Clinic focuses on therapies that help with diastasis recti, incontinence, menopause and conditions associated with the pelvic floor region. Our proprietary therapy protocol combined with the latest technologies achieve fast and effective results.

About the Role

The Human Resource Manager will run the HR department in various HR functions, focusing on HR Operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Recruitment and Onboarding

• Draft and post job advertisements on various job boards and social media platforms.
• Screen resumes and applications, and schedule interviews.
• Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interview schedules with candidates and hiring managers.
• Onboard new hires, including preparation of onboarding materials and conducting orientation sessions.
• Process and manage work passes

Employee Relations and Offboarding

• Maintain employee records and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.
• Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, procedures and grievances
• Implement employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Organize staff meetings, training sessions, and team-building activities.
• Offboard hires, including calculation of final pay, conducting of exit interviews, etc.

HR Administration:

• Prepare and process HR-related documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and termination paperwork.
• Maintain HR databases and generate reports as needed.
• Support Finance department in payroll calculations
• Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Performance Management:

• Support the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.
• Assist in coordinating performance review processes.
• Track and document employee performance metrics.

Requirements

• Polytechnic / Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Strong understanding of HR principles and practices; Employment Act & MOM regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Suite (Doc, Sheets, Slides, Forms)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

As the Asst Restaurant Manager, you shall willingly and diligently carry out the duties assigned to you from time to time, including but not limited to the following:

• Assisting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing of the service of the Restaurant.
• Greet and coordinate the seating of guests, assign guests to tables suitable to the size of each group.
• Recognise the regular guests and highlight to the Restaurant Manager about the particular guest’s preferences.
• Ensure guests’ requests are not delayed during the operations of in the Restaurant.
• Record and report all guests’ complaints to the Restaurant Manager immediately.
• Ensure team briefings are carried out before each service period.
• Ensure that no standing bills stays on the system, and account for all voided.
• Promote the Restaurant by establishing a loyal and regular customer base, maintaining a regular customer database and personalized customer service.
• Handle emergency and difficult situations.
• Adjust any modifications to checks or bills.
• Ensure that the Supervisors & Captains in their sections are able to describe the dishes for the evening and any extra dishes (specials) properly and are well groomed, properly attired and efficient.
• Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness, the maintenance of furnishings and equipment and the proper set up of in the Restaurant.
• Participate in monthly physical stock take of the Restaurant, including but not limited to glassware, plate and crockery.

Human Resource

• Support in local recruitment and selection for efficient restaurant human resources. This should

include but not be limited to: Staff recruitment and selection, training, performance management &

• Maintain cohesiveness of the team to maximise positive teamwork efforts

Operational responsibilities

• SOP development for service & review (opening, closing etc.)

• Timely management updates – Monthly performance, sales & trend analysis, and

recommendations

• Resource management & maximisation - staff costs reduction and maintain

within targets

• Set up audit controls – inventory and restaurant security

• Ensure that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, customers and

company assets

Service Operations

• Improve average Yield per Customer

• Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of service

• Staff briefings – daily and & monthly (with management team)

Property & Equipment Management

• General maintenance – to ensure that properties are managed properly and always in good

condition

• Equipment maintenance - ensure equipment is adequate for operational needs, is in good

working order and fit for its purpose.

Customer service

• Ensure consistently high quality of customer service in all areas

• Respond to complaints, taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests

• Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service

Basic Marketing

• Activate social media platforms

• Respond in a timely manner (daily checks) on emails and social media platforms

• Ensure websites are updated at all times

• Regular messaging and posting on social media platforms

Events & Promotions

• Engage in local branch promotional activities with customers and media as required

• Assist, advise and manage event operations as and when required

• 10 years of experience in end-to-end delivery and payments systems.
• Expertise in cash management systems.
• Strong experience with ISO 20022 messaging (Pain, Pacs, Camt) and country-specific payment systems.
• Proficient in requirement gathering, impact analysis, and creating user stories and roadmaps.
• Hands-on in coordinating onshore and offshore teams to align delivery with release plans.
