1. Prepare Sales Quotations and Rental Quotations:

• Access the ERP system and navigate to the quotation module.
• Enter customer details, equipment specifications, pricing, and terms.

• Save and send quotations to customers promptly.

2. Process Sales Orders:

• Utilize the ERP system to process sales orders received from customers.
• Enter order details accurately including quantity, pricing, delivery instructions, and any special terms.
• Verify order information to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Confirm order receipt and update the system accordingly.

3. Assist Salespersons:

• Act as a point of contact for salespersons regarding customer inquiries, order status, and any issues that arise.

4. Resolve Client Complaints:

• Receive and document client complaints or issues promptly.

5. Arrange PE for Heavy Equipment Inspection:

• Coordinate with relevant departments to schedule third-party inspections (PE) for heavy equipment.

• Facilitate inspection processes to comply with safety and operational standards.

6. Prepare Weekly Sales Reports:

• Compile data on stock availability, latest Statements of Account (SOA), and rental fleet stock lists.
• Generate weekly sales reports using ERP system or designated reporting tools.
• Include key metrics and insights for management review and decision-making.

7. Chase Payment for Sales and Rental Units:

• Monitor payment timelines and follow up with customers to collect outstanding payments.
• Send reminders and statements as necessary to ensure payments are received within 90 days.
• Document payment status and update financial records accordingly.

8. Provide Assistance to Service Team:

• Support service team members with operational matters as they arise.
• Coordinate equipment servicing and repairs, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Communicate service updates to relevant stakeholders as needed.

9. Monitor Drilling Rig Tools & Accessories:

• Conduct regular inventory checks and maintenance tracking for drilling rig tools and accessories.
• Arrange client viewings and demonstrations for rental and sales purposes.
• Ensure availability and readiness of equipment for client inspections.

10. Apply for HDB Permits for Crawler Cranes:

• Initiate and complete applications for Housing Development Board (HDB) permits as required.
• Gather necessary documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with HDB and internal departments to secure permits in a timely manner.

11. Ensure Heavy Equipment Insurance Coverage:

• Verify and ensure all heavy equipment is adequately covered by insurance policies.

12. Ensure Payment for LTA for Rough Terrain Cranes:

• Coordinate payment processes and documentation to comply with Land Transport
• Authority (LTA) requirements for rough terrain cranes.

13. Apply Company Equipment under Bank Hire Purchase:

• Identify equipment eligible for hire purchase based on company policy and financial criteria.
• Prepare required documentation including equipment details, financial statements, and purchase agreements.
• Submit applications to designated banks and follow up to ensure timely processing.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and bank representatives to finalize hire purchase arrangements.

BASIC FUNCTION

As a Data Center Segment expert, the Sales Engineer is responsible for leading, developing sales strategies and plans as well as generate new business opportunities to the company. The position does this by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships with potential and existing key accounts, end customers, consultants, and system integrators. The position maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions, competitive positions, and solutions/services that PS can provide to develop the pipeline of business coming into the company. This position has the ultimate objective to aggressively achieve profitable growth through monitoring of Data Center project pipelines and assisting to convert these into actual orders.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate new business opportunities and proposes potential business deals by contacting potential customers, decision makers and target accounts. Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements and evaluate options.
• Works closely with local, regional, and global teams to close new business deals with persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential key accounts/customers to do business with PS. Collaborates to establish long term working relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers at different management levels across key accounts’ organizations.
• Establish, cultivate, and maintain key relationships with end customers, influencers, and contractors. This can be done in conjunction with distribution partners and direct engagement.
• Uncover and build opportunity pipelines with Sales, end customers and advance through the sales stages progressively till deal closure. Ensures that data is accurately entered and managed within PS’s CRM and sales/project management system.
• Establish budgetary forecasts and sales volume targets for the SEA DC market.
• Collaborate with Sales to assess level of involvement required from distribution to ensure success of closing business and project opportunities. Provides project guidance for price and quotation strategy to distribution network.
• Identifies and support in qualification of strategic alliances to expand PS solution, products, and services; and business networking to leverage into additional markets.
• Provide front line Data Center related marketing and technical support to distribution partners and dealers, as necessary.
• Analyze sales and market data to provide relevant information to senior management for decision making.
• Plays an active role in promoting PS in trade events and associations. Works with Marketing and Engineering to create, prepare and present technical papers and other application specific white papers for marketing collateral, trade journals and conferences.
• Be the expert in Data Center power products and solutions, industry standards and overall on-site power system design and integration.

TRAVEL

This position requires travel up to 50%.

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant sales experience in the power generation business.

Position Statement

The Senior Residential Consultant is responsible for the servicing and conversion of sales leads and opportunities generated by Crown’s marketing efforts.

The Senior Residential Consultant needs to follow the prescribed Crown sales methodologies and protocols in accordance with the strategies, priorities, and sales targets of the Crown Group.

This role also works closely with other internal stakeholders and ensures all sales opportunities are leveraged to maximum effect in a team selling environment.

Maintaining a high-performance customer driven culture is also crucial to the success of this position.

The Senior Residential Sales Consultant may provide assistance in the drafting of sales bids/ proposals/ presentations, reporting on market and industry trends and help implement new or amended sales strategies. They will be responsible for their own workload, assessing and adjusting their efforts as required, and also to help the team meet the goals set. They may also assist the Head of Sales in providing guidance to junior team members and take extra team lead responsibilities.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Administration

• Meet and maintain weekly/monthly sales conversion targets in accordance with Crown’s KPIs
• Attend, report to and participate in sales meetings, report on competitor trends and help develop local sales strategies that meet the challenges of the market

Customer Service

• Visit customers in their homes to meet the pre-arranged appointment times
• Upon receipt of a confirmed survey appointment, prior to the physical appointment, being prepared to include destination office information and sales aids such as destination guides, etc.
• Complete a detailed inventory of effects to be transported which allows the accurate calculation of the cubic capacity of the goods – digitally via special tools used by Crown.
• Present the company’s services by discussion, demonstrations and the use of the presenter in the most positive light, selling the benefits of our service, our company, and the Crown network worldwide.
• Utilize value based selling skills and methodologies that clearly differentiate Crown from our competitors and generate best value for Crown at every possible juncture.
